We Suck

Post by hailskins666 »

period. there are no two ways about it. from top to bottom.

we've ripped apart every aspect of the team on this board, and it is not getting better. we are terrible from one end to the other. you can't lay blame on just one aspect. we suck, period.

this team(coaches and trainers included) is spineless and heartless. nothing is changing for the better. its the same crap, week in and week out. it's time to blow it up and start over. back to the drawing boards.

snyder HAS to bring a GM in this time around. he's tried everything else. he's gotten the best talent that money can buy. he's gotten the best coaches money can buy. and yet the redskins are still, for some reason, trying to fit a round peg in a square hole.

there is a 'losing' atmosphere that surrounds this team. for some reason, it seems that losing is OK, as long as you look like you tried hard doing it. i for one am sick of it. its to the point now that watching them play is comical. the redskins are the redskins worst enemy. we are that bad. as a matter of fact, we are 6-5 when it comes to beating ourselves this year. the only real loss was to NE, in six other losses, we help the other team more than we helped ourselves. that is piss poor effort on the players' part, and complete crap preparation on the coaches part.

time to blow it up and get back to the drawing board. we need GM that has a long term plan, longer than 3 or 4 years, to build a solid foundation. we need to be building a team that will be better in five years than it will be next year. enough of the short-sightedness. enough of the 'robbing peter to pay paul' approach. think about long term, not just 'making a run at the playoffs'. build a team from the ground up that will come to play football, year in, year out, and make a legitimate run at the superbowl, not just the playoffs, EVERY YEAR.

i am just disgusted with just about every aspect of the redskins right now. i really don't see any positives coming out of what is taking place at redskins park right now. we need to get younger, faster and smarter as a team, and all of that ain't gonna happen over night. and it is going to mean trimming the fat, and cutting a few players and coaches in the process. but that is the only way to help this team..... a fresh start in the right direction. My 2 cents

Dude, I can't believe this post. The Redskins just lost a teammate and your worried about the way they played. As a Redskin fan it is frustrating to see us continue to lose but life is more important.

i don't really blame snyder for the approach that he's tried. he just wants to win. but none of it has worked. those who do not learn from their mistakes are destined to repeat them. we need structure, and that starts at the top, with a GM. once or should i say 'if' we ever get a GM, that will be the first building block to go in the direction we want to go in.

Hey 666, we suck after yesterday or did we suck when we barely beat Miami or the Jets? lol

To me, nothings changed from when we started the season, no wait, lemme add to that. JC has improved since starting the season, and the offense looks better since starting the season even with our starters banged up. Other than that bruh, we've been the same Skins all year long. We are consistently the team that doesn't play to win. Sure, question our skills, question our coaching calls, question our clock management but don't question our hearts brutha. (not saying you did) We played with alot of heart yesterday and the Bills played better. Simple.
I'm not gonna get on you 666 for making this thread because sooner or later it had to be discussed.

We do need a GM folks, that's painfully obvious to see. Maybe a GM would've said hey, you guys have Betts, Cartwright, and Sellars, go ahead and keep Champ. NOT SAYING Champ is this or that, this is just an example. Do we suck though, maybe, but I don't care right now, I'll care next year when preseason starts.

You are heartless. If you are so upset about whats going on with the Redskins then why don't you pick a new team? Because right now the Redskins are grieving. This is about life and if you are expecting wins or playoffs at this point then you need to examine your own life. I mean did you even watch the game yesterday? You need to grow up. I am proud to be a Redskins fan, sure I HATE to lose but right now at this time there are more important things to worry about then worrying about this. There will be a time where they will need to address somethings with this team.

both, all three, all year for that matter, aside from one fluke game where we got detroit good.

i see campell improving on turning the ball over. whats that 150 fumbles lost and 13 interceptions on the year?

i did question the redskins heart. and spine. i see none. they look like a team that expects to be kicked around on sundays. the mentality of this team is bad, to say the least.

We do need a GM folks, that's painfully obvious to see. Maybe a GM would've said hey, you guys have Betts, Cartwright, and Sellars, go ahead and keep Champ. we'll suck next year too. my point was we have to say 'enough' at some point, and build from the ground up. we have to get the front office straight first and foremost. a GM will hire 'his' coach and staff. then will start stocking the roster with 'system' players. you've got to build for the future in this league. its just the way things are with the cap.

and hopefully while they are at it, will find a new training staff. i think everyone on the roster has had a pulled groin or hammy this year.

Wow, is all I can say! We know you're the 'resident jerk' by your own label but I don't think this is the right time to display that attitude.

You are over it. You don't see the man on a daily basis. You did not rely on him to do your job yesterday. I see my work family more then I do my family at home. If one of them were to suddenly be violently murdered I'd likely take more then 1 week to get adjusted and to get things back on track.
I'm not saying from a football prespective we are great, I'm just saying yesterday is not the ruler to measure this team by.

yes, you are right, i'm no 'real' fan. i should just turn my back and pick a new team when it gets rough, instead of trying to discuss it with other, should i use the word 'fans'. you're so right, i'm a total phony. i haven't volunteered countless hours and resource as a staff member over the last four years so people like you can have a message board to come to and have a place to tell me 'how wrong' i am for expressing a thought.... on a message board, for that matter.

yea, i'm heartless, because i've chosen to move on from taylors death. if there is a god, he should just strike me dead, because i'm trying to move on with life.

did i even watch the game yesterday??? um, duh, what the hell am i ranting about? it cetainly ain't about the way the redskins dressed yesterday.

So you wanna crumble it down to the ground and build it back up is what your saying? Dude, your so wrong about playing with no heart, if one of your close co-workers died suddenly, could you go back to work and do a great job man? Your being waaaay to hard on them brutha. They played yesterday for us and Sean bruh. They tried their best and got outplayed, damn am I the only one who sees that???? Maybe this is the best out of this corp of players but I'm ok with lettng this season ride out the way it is man. These guys don't have it easy with the game yesterday, funeral today, practice tomorrow and Wednesday and then game on Thursday.

While I hate to even type this today given the funeral just ending but I really have to say that as long as Daniel Snyder owns this team we won't have system players, we'll have "over the hill players". Every once in a while we'll get a player who will stick and play well but they are few and far between. I won't even go into the football trading card era as proof. That was just awful. But the problem goes to Snyder paying so much for guys that most teams would never paid for. Brunell, Randle El, Portis, Lloyd, etc. The list could go on. I love those guys as people and really think they are good football players but they are so overpaid it isn't funny which is why we have no depth. The depth of this team at the skill positions is an embarrassment.

Anyway, I shouldn't even post this today but I had to say something. Its been bugging me for years and while I am new to this board I just couldn't let that go. What pains me the most is Sean Taylor was one of the budding superstars to go along with JC and others. Its amazingly sad that we as fans won't see him come into his own, and that his family has lost a son, friend, and father. Just depressing right now.

yes, you are right, i'm no 'real' fan. i should just turn my back and pick a new team when it gets rough, instead of trying to discuss it with other, should i use the word 'fans'. you're so right, i'm a total phony. i haven't volunteered countless hours and resource as a staff member over the last four years so people like you can have a message board to come to and have a place to tell me 'how wrong' i am for expressing a thought.... on a message board, for that matter.

yea, i'm heartless, because i've chosen to move on from taylors death. if there is a god, he should just strike me dead, because i'm trying to move on with life.

did i even watch the game yesterday??? um, duh, what the hell am i ranting about? it cetainly ain't about the way the redskins dressed yesterday.

First off I'm not saying that you are wrong about what you are saying about the Redskins all I said Its just real bad timing for this post. Like I said the Redskins are grieving, the franchise is grieving, and all you are worried about is they lost. I totally understand what you are saying, but in my opinion bad timing. I'm sorry that I said that you are heartless but thats how I felt after reading these posts. Again I'm sorry

redskinmountaineer wrote:While I hate to even type this today given the funeral just ending but I really have to say that as long as Daniel Snyder owns this team we won't have system players, we'll have "over the hill players". The depth of this team at the skill positions is an embarrassment.
finally. a coherrant non emotional filled response.

Just depressing right now.
why shouldn't you say something today? what does today have to do with those last few years you've mentioned. it is sad, but sean would want this team, its fans, everyone to move on. he'd want this team headed in the right direction, and he'd want to be a part of it. thats not the case, but i'm sure he'd want us to carry on.

nothing to be sorry about.

this post is not based on JUST yesterday. we have been stinking it up for a long time. we need to start turning the ship in the right direction, sooner rather than later, imo.

the whole taylor thing sucks. bad. i get it. but this has NOTHING to do with slapping the taylor situation in the face. i don't know why people are taking that way. it was meant to slap the redskins organization in the face, mainly snyder. i'm not drawing conclusions from one game that was a highly emotional loss. i'm drawing these conclusions from the redskins team in general that has not changed for the better since snyder aquired it.

this thread is repulsive....no one is argueing how bad they have been and how changes might us help this out bigtime...

BUT GUYS THIS FRANCHISE IS IN MOURNING....give it a rest and move on in your life.....you want wins and playoffs???..even after today??...

the personnel decsions and the management decsions will come in time and will be handled accordingly......

but right now this teama nd ITS COACH needs its unwavering support just for the next couple of weeks so we can just finish the season up...after that its back to business

but now????? ....its sad....talk all you want but this an embarassing thread...very embarassing
