Trust me, given what I ended up paying for a parking pass (let's just say too much) the cash lots may be a blessing

LOL.. I was searching online and the cheapest green pass I could find was $49. Given that today is Thursday I'd have to do the express service and that adds $20 to the price. $69 total??? I said heck naw, I'll drive down Landover Road and find someone on the side and pay $20 for one; that's what I usually do. LOL

Can we some solidarity here folks?

It would mean a lot to me for a bunch of you to get together and represent for Sean.

I know the type of passion that runs through some of you... so I don't care where you normally tailgate, but if you can make it over to us this week and all hang out together, and say a prayer for Sean and his family... it'd make me feel a lot better about not being able to be there.

I'll second that sentiment.
The THN community doesn't owe me anything but it would be a touching display if those of you fortunate enough to be at the game would represent those of us who can't be there.

We set up at A72 so maybe Superskin can head on over. I don't know that we've set a time yet, anyone know when the gates will open? Let's say 10:30. For those of you that can guarentee you are going, I'd like to know because I'm doing something special for each of us and I need a count. I will make a few extra but I'm not going to do too many extras. So give me a solid yes and a number.

Niki, the parking lots normally open 4 hrs. prior to kickoff and the stadium usually opens 2 hrs. prior to the game.

This is 1 game I wish I was attending. I sold my tix several months ago. Represent everyone!

Hey Nik, A72 it is for me!! I'll definitely be there for sure with my girlfriend.

Also, I tried to get that t-shirt I wanted made but nowhere near me was able to do it. I found a place online but the express delivery charge was ridiculous so it looks like I'll be wearing my #21 jersey instead.

Looking forward to finally meeting you all and especially the lil man!!

BYO everything Bob... especially yourself, and a willingness to celebrate Sean's life rather than mourn his death.

We're trying to come up with ways to keep things in that vein. We know that there will be sorrow... but I think we owe it to Sean to honor him with a celebration and not a dismal gathering.

Wish i could be there, but I'm happy that some of you will be getting together to support each other. The more the merrier...

... and keeping it merry should be EVERYONE'S mantra.

If the THN tailgate is not starting until around 10:00 AM and if you folks arrive around 9:00 AM, feel free to stop the purple lot, G10, and pay me a visit. I'll be serving sausage mcmuffins with egg at that time. You'll also be able to see the new banner I got honoring Sean. I'll probably head up to the THN tailgate a bit later on.

Are you going over to the green lot at 10:00? If not that would kind of defeat what they are trying to do wouldn't it?

Don't think I'll make it but haven't given up yet, if I do it would be nice if everyone is in one place.

Hey Bernie... anything you need to make it happen man, you just let me know.

If you're even thinking about going, if you just let me know what the hang-up is, I'll eliminate it.

PM me right away, and let me pull whatever strings need pulling for you.

Don't be a modest idiot about this... I owe you, and I can definitely reach out to my network to make things like accomodations possibly a lot easier.

need tix

Post by chiefhog44 »

I'm flying in from Chicago this weekend. Should I wait to buy tix at the game or right now on-line? I only need one for myself, so I'm thinking the game would be a cheaper route...just not a safe one. I'm going to swing by the THN tailgate... I've got nowhere else to go, so I hope you guys don't mind.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Absolutely, come on by.

I'm not sure that you can actually count on scalped toickets to this game being cheaper... people are vultures... and will seek to capitalize on the emotion of this game.

If you're planning on buying tickets "at the game" you had better plan on buying scalped tickets. I am positive the game is sold out.

tix

do you think I can get scalped tickets cheaper than on-line right now. I just looked and Stub hub is selling them for 175 each. That's up $100 in about five hours!
Rediculous!

Negative, game's not sold out yet. At this point the safest thing would be to order tickets directly from Fedex Field and do a "pickup" at the ticket counter. Only reason I say this vs. buying online is that you may not get the tickets on time. I'll look for that number you can call or if anyone else has it, please post it for him. Thanks

*edit*.. or if you could get them online and have delivered ontime, do it!!! Lock it in!!!

Amen to that. I'm not sure if I'm bringing food or not, but I'll most likely bring sodas.

Should I bring beer, or is that even allowed in the parking area? (prob a stupid question, but I've never tailgated before)

I think my fiancee and I are shooting to get there around 9, so I may just have to check out Justice's banner (and sausage McMuffins if he has enough to go 'round :) )

Looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible this Sunday, where I'm hoping the team wins this one for Sean!
