The first one was great! but just let me warn you...

Be prepared for a total gore-fest, lol. I mean it's kind of fake and cheesy, but when I saw the first one in theaters it took me about a half hour to get comfortable with all the blood and stuff, I was pretty shocked. Still, it's kind of cheesy and it's a pretty interesting film. I liked it a lot

this movie is by far the best quentin tarantino film to date .don't get me wrong love the other stuff but nothing even comes close.KILL BILL VOLUME 1 is a awesome action, kung fu,blood fest not for the weak of heart.but yet the violence is over the top.such as blood pouring out of somones arm or leg like a water hoose when you water the lawn.the weapon on choice is a sword so you get the picture body parts everywhere.if you are a fan of the old kung fu movies this the cream of the crop.quentin is a movie making god!!!!!!!!!i'am going to one of the first showing in the morning.i'll have a review tomorrow for all those interested.REDSKINZ4EVER!!!

Perhaps you are unaware, but Q made "Pulp Fiction" in addition to Kill Bill :)

Maybe once it's all said and done both Kill Bill movies will be better than Pulp Fiction, but we'll have to see

Well I wouldn't expect her to kill ANOTHER 88 bodyguards and 2 assasins. I'd be happy to have a little more polt this time, the first Kill Bill was very mysterious, now it is time to answer the questions... it is for this reason that I still think Pulp Fiction is Q's best, but that BOTH Kill Bill's will be able to top it :)

That's a big statement. Don't forget, I just got back from Amsterdam. :0)

Dude, I love Pulp Fiction and Resevoir Dogs. I liked Four Rooms and True Romance too - I hadn't heard anything good about Kill Bill, but I'm going to try it based on your rec.

.... looking through the bag.
Roth - which one is yours
Jackson - it's the one that says ' Bad..

You hadn't heard anything good about Kill Bill? had you heard anything at all? because I've heard ONLY good things from other people! :)

I really liked it, it's kind of a spoof on Samurai movies and there is a lot of goofy violence and whatnot, but Q is a great storyteller and he makes two darn good movies (I just got home from seeing vol 2) I'd strongly recomend this movie, if you liked any of Q's movies to date (and I see that you have) then you will love these movies. He takes a new genre of popular movies that he grew up likeing and he redoes it in his own way, with a slight twist of humor. I give them 4 thumbs up! Two for each movie!!

I think in Kill Bill vol 2, when Bill said that there wasn't really 88 guards he was just trying to keep Budd calm. There were a TON of guards and I would assume that there were about 88 extras that Uma slice and diced!

The Punisher, being a takeoff of the original comic book was a little disappointing when compared to the original series. They didn't try to stay true to form like X Men or Spiderman. But as a standalone, if you don't know Frank Castle's story from the comics, it is a decent movie - probably 6 out of 10 - and that is deducting for Dolph Lundgren playing the lead role.

i just saw both the kill bill movies this weekend and thought they were very amusing but you can't even compare them to pulp fiction. i mean, how many quotable lines does pulp fiction have?? the dialouge between jewels and vincent it just plane LOL FUNNY! kill bill vol 1 & 2 is good but pulp fiction is GREAT!

I seen Hellboy, my kids liked it.....Although i have never ever heard of the comic or read it.......

Punisher seems good .....I am a big fan of marvel comics ...and he looks like the dark, brooding, moody azz killer like in the book it might be good......Anyone see the Promo's for THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW.....

I finally watched Vol. 1 today after buying the DVD. Gotta tell ya, I still think Pulp Fiction is his best movie by Q to date.

Kill Bill Vol. 1 is good and definitely shows a lot of action and gore...but one of the things I love about Q's older movies was the witty cerebral dialogue. Not much of that goin' on in Kill Bill.

That being said, now I can go out and watch Vol. 2!
