Bills Game

Post by Fios »

So, coincidentally, I will be in attendance at the Bills game this Sunday. If folks who are going want to gather somewhere and pray (or whatever you like) for Sean, sign up here. I don't have a parking pass (yet, looking) so the where is not determined at this point.

I think everyone should wear a Taylor jersey if they have one. I don't think the team is selling them as of this morning but the local sports shops probably have them. Imagine if there were 20,000 people in Taylor jersey's, it would send a message to his family that the fans will miss him greatly.

I wouldn't be shocked if the Skins forfeit this game.

I was thinking the same thing. Football's great but it's not more important than life.

I don't know if it's even feasible but you have to consider how many people were close to him on the team...all of them. Then you have to think of the Portis, Moss, Gregg Williams and various others who were EXTREMELY close to him.

Most jobs give you 3 days - week to grieve and I don't know how you can expect these cats to really practice this week and go out on a field where Sean should be with them and not have them break down.

Do I want them to forfeit? I'm not saying that. I'm just saying that I'd understand if they did. This is a rare situation where a player is lost during the season like this.

There is absolutely NO WAY the Skins will forfeit this game. I'm not saying they should or shouldn't, but I believe that the majority of people want this game to go on if for anything, for Sean.

Fios, I got a parking pass from Ebay brutha and also Stubhub has some too. Stubhub actually has alot of green passes and a few others i believe. I'm sitting in the endzone.. Section 414, Row 24. Shoot, I'm not even sure which parking pass I got but its whatever the seller has. I'm more than willing to meet up with the entourage for a pregame. Also, I'm gonna check with SupaSkin to see where he'll be.

Anyone know if an extra ticket? If it's going to be played, I want to be there.

Has a team ever forfeitted?

Do they honor him in any way by forfeitting this game?

It won't be easy for them to do, but I think they'll play, and they will need our support.

I'm sure if you could ask Sean Taylor, he'd want the 'Skins to play and win.

Could the NFL push the games back? (Sunday to Monday and Thursday to Sunday)?

I don't think they will forfeit it.

I doubt that will happen.

Has that ever happened before by any other NFL team?

I feel bad for the Bills and the rest of the teams we play this season.....the best way to honor Sean's memory is to hit the other player HARD. I know that is something I want to do right now.

No it hasn't happened before according to what Brahm said this morning. I'm not sure if Sean Taylor would want the game to be forfeited ya know? I mean, that guy as a player was a soldier and I honestly believe alot of those guys wanna grieve this week, and play some football to get the stress out. Gosh, this sux, any way you look at it is just horrible.

I'll be there though, wearing my #21 and I'll make some kind of band for my arm.

We have to ask ourselves, would Sean Taylor WANT the Redskins to forfeit the game?

I'll be there!

I don't believe forfeit is and option, from what I know of Sean Taylor, he loved football and the Redskins, a forfeit wouldnt have toleranted from Sean, he will want the team to go and fight, no matter the result he would want them to play.

if the redskins forfeited the game, sean taylor, somewhere, would be cursing them for doing so. he would absolutely want the game to be played.

I am down and will meet wherever we need to to pray for his family, friends and this orginization asthey and we continue to grieve. I have an orange pp but I will meet wherever. Just let me know
