why wouldn't you move after that, or at least not stay in miami...why was he in miami in the first place?
Sean, may you always rest in peace and look down on us with the same love that we look up to you.

Move after what? The ATV thing? He did. He's from Miami why should he leave? He left Florida City.

That happened 8 days ago, which included a holiday. Maybe he didn't have time to move if he wanted to. Maybe that's why he was home this past weekend with his family.

True. but, wasn't that enough time to have a security system installed? From all reports, it doesn't sound like he had one. That seems odd.

I think we should keep our eyes on the ball here, Sean Taylor is in critical condition and battling for his life. Nothing else matters right now. There will be plenty of time for speculation, judgements, etc..., but for right now, I think the focus should be on his staying alive!

Personally, it matters not whether Sean Taylor is/was involved with Gangs, or anything else, no matter what his life is/was like, he does not deserve to die at the age of 24!!
Sit back and watch the Redskins.

SOMETHING MAGICAL IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!

I keep reading the thing about this being an armed robbery where nothing was taken. It just sounds weird. Wilbon made some strange comments about all of this on his online chat today on the Post too:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/co ... id=topnews

Columbia, Md.: What makes you think that Taylor was still embracing his old ways? Every thing we have heard from the Redskins and Portis is that this is a new Sean. Apparently the birth of his child really helped to straighten him out. Is this contrary to what you know?

Michael Wilbon: Sorry, but I'n not in the habit of having comapanies with their own public relations agenda tell me about black men and what they feel or don't feel. Pardon me if I'm not that easy.

None of it really matters much right now.

I'm not much on prayers, but I hope like hell that Sean Taylor is going to be ok.

I hope and pray that he is ok. Not as a fan, but as a man wanting the best for another man and his family.

Sharpstein said Taylor's girlfriend told him the couple was awakened by loud noises, and Taylor grabbed a machete he keeps in the bedroom for protection. Someone then broke through the bedroom door and fired two shots, one missing and one hitting Taylor, the lawyer said.

"It was clearly a burglary, an armed burglary," Sharpstein said, adding nothing appeared to have been stolen.

Who cares? His life is much more important than football.

Truthfully, I don't think anyone cares. This is a life-or-death situation here, not a torn ACL.

I'm sure we all have, but obviously whether or not he will live through the day is more pressing. How can we even start talking about his career if we're not sure that he will make it through the next few hours?

Stay strong, Sean.

My bad... I didn't know it was as serious as death. I just found that out right now.

its all good man. most of us have been following this all day
There are only two teams I root for in the NFL. The Skins, and whoever is playing Dallas.

It's okay that we drafted a Landry. After this season, the crygirls will have a new association with that name.
