Wingman's Mock Draft #2

Post by BringThePain! »

Good work.... you opened my eyes on a couple of teams needs with your insite....

I too think Detroit will take Jackson at #6.... as long as Taylor is gone.... I think that Jackson would help them the most out of anyone else they could get at #6....

I do think that, if the Chargers go after WR... it would make much more sense for them to drop down to say #4 or #7... and still grab one of the Top 2 wideouts.... of course Fitzgerald won't be there at #4 but they could land Roy Williams and get some extra picks, to help them fill there many hole's....

The one thing I have a question about is....Do you really think the Broncos jump up 7 spots to pick up Watson? I mean they have bigger needs at LB and RB..... I can't see them jumpimg that far up just to snag Watson who mostly likely him and Troupe would have been there for the 24th pick....

I think there looking at RB..... and I know everyone says that Denver get's it's RB in the later rounds.... But they lost alot in Portis and Anderson, and I can't see them being content with Hearst and Griffen..... I think there making a run at Jackson or K. Jones.... this to me makes the most sense since they jumped Dallas and New England who are 2 RB needy teams.....

I guess we shall see in 10 days..... :D

i think that wingman did a solid job in his mock draft but one thing really stood out: Mike Williams at #25!! IMO he's better than roy williams and would be a STEAL if he made it out of the top 15!

I watched Roy Williams barely have any production verse an average at best Arkansas past defense. Arkansas has two CBs that are very good and going into the draft this year; Ahman "Batman" Carroll and Lawrence Richardson. Both of them covered him at some point, and should been burned to the point someone would need to spray them down.

Still, that isn't enough to say he is bad. It is bad when Roy Williams catches a pass and drops it hafter being rammed by a CB who doesn't even start and is so low in the pecking order he isn't even on depth chart. Now, to be fair, he burned that CB the next play for a... Short gain.
