Mel Kiper has the Redskins drafting Sean Taylor
I was watching ESPN news today and it showed Mel Kiper's updated predictions for the first ten teams in the draft. He has us drafting Sean Taylor now
.

Last week he had us 90 % trading down possibly w/ NE for their two ones and a two. Detroit at #6 reportedly has the same deal in place with NE. The Patriots want the RB from Oregon I believe.
Death to all things Kiper !!!!!

Personally, I really like the job Mel Kiper does. The draft is one the most unpredictable things there is in all of sports. Its definitely harder to predict than the outcome of a game. He does from time to time over hype guys, but I don't understand what you guys have against him. I would definitely hire him to run my draft if I was an owner of an NFL team, because he knows more about the draft than anyone else, period.
5 in a row or we don't go!

I just wonder if he is ever going to change the grease in his hair.
Seriously - I just don't know that the Skins will stand pat at 5 with the needs we have and the opportunity to move down and pick up DLine help and fill some other holes with added picks.
I would personally like to see 2 NE first rounders and the second rounder coming our way... works for me

I think Kiper does a great job. A little too focused on the workouts and Combine for my taste. But overall - the man has a full-time job scouting football players and evaluating talent across the board at the NFL level. AND he gets paid good money for it too. I gotta hand it to him. Kiper is the Man! Everyone else is a pretender - including yours truly. :0) -- but a guy can dream

I can't complain. At worst, he brings to light names of people we'd never uncover in our online GM-wannabe Internet searches.
Like someone else said, the hype (and the hair goo) is a little thick at times but I can deal with Mel during "his month."
You know, we should just change it on the calendar:
January - February - March - Mel - May

oh - just joshing rscity
I agree - the man has a huge job to do and does well at it - considering he has 32 coaches all trying to fake him out and use his stuff as trade bait or making other teams think you are going after this guy rather than this other guy...
I figure it is a full time job and a half... I know Scooter does a tremendous amount of work on our draft info and he doesn't have ESPN's resources behind him
