Five in a row or.......
I hope I'm wrong but my feeling is we will lose at Dallas and most probably at TB, that brings our record to 5-6, we will have to win our next 5 to have a chance to be in the playoffs.

COmpletely Agree. says I.
The defensive unit just isn't the same without Carlos Rogers... Yes, I said it Carlos Rogers. With an injury to Sean Talylor, we are back to circa 2006... But this time we have LB's that can cover the distance for the most part, which means our O cannot depend on them. The O stepped up but fizzled out just as quick. It is disheartening to watch. But this is my team. Cheers, let's all down that beer in anger!.

No way we lose the Tampa game! It is our turn. For some reason we have alternted w/l with them for the last 10 games.

I don't know. Take a good look at all of the 4-5 to 6-3 teams in the NFC rirght now. The skins have as good a chance of being a wild card as anybody else.
Either way, this season beats years past when we've been out of playoff contention by the first week of November!
I've got Skins/Bears tickets in December. To be honest, I kind of like getting drunk on my sofa better than going to Fedex. But it will be nice to be surrounded by Skins fans, and I'd be really happy to see a Landry hit on the QB in person.

I am in complete agreement, getting to FedEx and getting home from it are a giant pain. Coupled with the insane prices and the seemingly constant stoppages in play, I prefer football on TV.

I think if we can somehow beat Dallas this week, Theres a chance we can win 3 of our next 4.. I think the playoofs are still in reach.. But we need a win over the Pukes.. TOUCHDOWNS.. are a must

Excuse me, did you just see the same team that played last weekend against the Eagles? Do you really expect the players to improve and, more importantly, the coaching to improve?
I certainly do not.
No way this team makes the playoffs.....or even deserves to.

Look I'm not some idiot homer saying this is a great team and they're going to battle their way into the playoffs and win the super bowl.
What I said EXACTLY is look at the other teams who are in the same position as the Redskins and fighting for the wild card spots. Detroit, Chicago, Carolina, Arizona, Philly. New Orleans just got whipped by 0-8 St. Louis! Every single one of these teams is as flawed or worse than the Redskins, and some of them have tougher schedules ahead than ours. Detroit is just as inconsistent and still has to play GB twice, Dallas, NY, the Chargers and Chiefs. Sorry but I'd take our remaining schedule any day.
So yeah I get it. We suck and everything. But even if we lose to Dallas this week, I will not be surprised if we sneak in as a wild card whether we deserve to be there or not.
And forgive me if I'll enjoy watching my favorite team try to make the playoffs next month.

True enough. This is looking like '04, when the Vikings snuck in with a 8-8 record. But it's sad that in Year 4 of Gibbs' Extreme Makeover: Football Team Edition, we're reduced to relying on the rest of the conference being mediocre to have a shot at the post-season.

Extremely disappointing. No doubt about it. And who wouldn't like to be a team like the Patriots just rolling through the season crushing everybody in their path?
It sucks watching the Skins lose games like they did on Sunday.
My brother is a long time Dolphins fan though. How much does that suck? You wait six months for football season to roll back around, and your team is completely done by mid-October. First week of November, you start having those conversations about what you're going to do with the #1 draft pick.
I'll take what I can get.

Think about this, we would be leading the division if we were in the NFC south or west.
