Chargers, Giants discuss trade for No. 1 draft pick

http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/7239430

I know SD has alot of other needs, but I hope Marty isn't trying to screw Snyder (and the Redskins) by taking Sean Taylor (knowing we might want him).

It says that there other needs besides QB are left Tackle, defensive end, and WR....

I don't think there gonna go after Taylor.... if they traded down to the Giants #4 spot.... my guess is they would take Williams, Gallery, Roethlisburger or trade down again if they are really in love with Rivers....

the whole trade down again thing is what scares me.... because then we would have to worry about somebody jumping ahead of us and stealing Taylor....

Hopefully the Giants just stay at 4 and Grab Gallery with that pick.... I'd rather them have Gallery over Manning

i don't think they'll take taylor. if they did they'd be ridiculed for it. who takes a safety with a no. 1 pick?!? with collins getting old, and no real good qb ready to step in, i'd say they're looking at manning.

I'm not saying that SD would take Taylor at #1. If they trade with NY, NY would get Manning #1 and SD could grab Taylor at #4 and screw us. Like I said they have many other needs, but this would be payback for Marty.

Marty said on ESPN Radio today that they Brought in the 3 QB, taylor, And Winslow.... they worked out the 3 QB's but not Taylor or Winslow...... I would think they would work them out if they had a thought about drafting them..... if they do fall back they'll more than likely grab one of the other 2 QB's

i don't think marty would put personal issues before the team. they may take taylor, but it will be because its in SD's best interest, not because marty wants to get back at snyder.
and even if taylor is gone at #5, its not the end of the world. then we'd be stuck with say.... udeze. there are much worse places to be in.

I live in San Diego and you do not have to worry about the Chargers picking Taylor if they trade down to #4. Chargers have picked defensive back #1 with the last two drafts and they have good young safetys right now. Chargers are in no need of a Taylor. Rumor has it that the Giants are offering either Collins and #4 for the #1 pick or Ike Hillard and #4 for the #1 pick. Personally, I do not like Collins and if the Chargers trade for him, there will be a revolt in SD. If the Chargers trade to #4, I think they will pick Big Ben.

Oh no. This could happen. I never thought about this. But I think they will pick Gallery.

Do they need a saftey?

Everyone needs a safety, but SD needs other things 1st (hopefully).

San Diego would be really going out of their way to "settle a score" with the Redskins. That is some high stakes revenge and they need far more than a safety can deliver. Namely a receiver and perhaps someone to get it to them.

Then again, we are talking about the 'Bolts.
