Obviously if we have no shot against the NFC, then your Hognostication picks are a CROCK and phony (but then again, we all knew that) and your loyalty is somewhere down the tubes.

Oh right, you are the only one entitled to comment on things around here... my bad.

I will say the fact that I spend 40-50 times as much time entering EVERYONE'S picks as you do making one set, does at least afford me the opportunity to notice how little overall success ANYONE who has ever bet against the Redskins has had. It does also allow me to see when someone is a completely insurmountable 20 or even 30 games back of the pool's leader and is still betting against his team 'to win'.

The more you kick and scream, the more you sink in quicksand.

BossHog might or might not be a terrible potential Hognosticator. We will probably never know due to the work that he puts in for all of us. But I am willing to say that he knows the NFL as well or better than the best posters in this site. In addition, knowing that he landed Tazlah, you can also say he is one of the luckiest fellows too. This is a mighty risky combination if you ask me. So, I would not try to put him on the spot even for fun if I was you.

I know that your message to him is a youthful attempt at fun. So I do not take it so seriously. The part that you fail to acknowledge is that the BEST Hognosticators (through good and mostly bad seasons) are knowledgeable NFL fans who stick with their team because it is the right thing to do, particularly in a REDSKINS BOARD volunteered by REDSKINS FANS for other REDSKINS FANS where there is nothing but bragging rights at stake among the best REDSKINS FANS that we can be.

I know you do not see it that way yet. But the whole idea of "bragging rights" is not only about winning the Hognostications, it is about doing so WHILE remaining LOYAL to our team regardless of the odds against us. There cannot be ANY BRAGGING among REDSKINS FANS going against the team -even- if they win on any given week.

As for the CURSE OF RIC, it stands well and alive:

NO THN HOGNOSTICATOR WINS THE HOGNOSTICATIONS PICKING AGAINST OUR TEAM ON ANY GIVEN WEEK.

because those Hognoostitraitors are not great and knowledgeable fans in the first place.
