Does anyone watch the TV show Friday Night Lights?

I watch it regularly and while it is more like a soap opera than a football show, I still enjoy it. Also-I was thinking the other day, they have a FB named Riggins, a coach named Andy Taylor, a player named Landry and this is a stretch but they also have a player named "Smash" Williams. Homage to th skins? I know Williams and Taylor are pretty common but Landry and Riggins?

At least its on a Friday night now, I thought it was the worst marketing move ever when they put out the show on a Tuesday!
