How do they act? Like they have a good baseball team?

There actually is a class of Red Sox fans that I dislike, it's the "I wasn't a fan before 2004 and now I'm going to pretend as if I suffered along with everyone else" bandwagon riders. Sox "fans" came out of the woodwork, people who I never even knew liked baseball were suddenly these long-suffering fans. I know several lifelong, smart, die hard Sox fans. It's the ones who pretend to be that type of fan that annoy me.

I agree completely. But that could be said about any successful team. Go back in time and try to find someone with a Pats hat before the year 2001. You won't be able to. Now 'fans' are all over the place. You say the word 'Grogan' and they think you're talking about a character in Lord of the Rings.

But what equally pisses me off is people saying they hate a team simply because they happen to have some fake fans. Hate the fakers, not the team (as you have stated above).

R.I.P...Cleveland Indians.. would have been a better World Series, not by ratings of course, but just for the game of baseball.

I live in St Mary's County MD and there has been a explosion of people wearing brand new Cowboys items. I haven't seen many people wearing Cowboys stuff for years.

Makes me sick!

Without a losing season, one cannot enjoy a winning one, a playoff run and a Superbowl run. I keep telling myself that and I sleep like a baby at night.

That's nothing, try living close to DC and see what I have to deal with. Its like people laugh at me when they see my Skins stuff. I guess the crime rate's been going down too fast or something, they must want me to show my colors..

Really? That suprises me. I'm in soutern VA and I think there are more Cowpie fans then Redskins. I sure didn't think it would be that way in DC.
I firmly believe the Patriots are the antichrist.

See, that's cool. I don't hate Derek Jeter because he's a wussy little girly girl. I hate him because he's a great player. I laugh at him because he's a wussy litte girly girl. Tee hee!

Well truth be told, I am an Angels/Skins fan. The Sox fans come to Angels stadium and just run there mouth bla bla bla. I dont really have a real hate, just a strong annoyance from them. The Red Sox have been to the ANgels, what the Yankees used to be to the Red Sox.

Anyhow , I am way over that now. On to Sunday baby.
