The only thing that would have made that any more annoying would have been Dennis Miller give the interview.
Speaking of Dennis,
Did anyone hear that he was getting his own "Rome is Burning" type show?
Whoever signed off on this must have not watched MNF the year he was a host, when the ratings were at a all time low.
Dennis knows nothing about sports. When he was on MNF all he did was crack un funny jokes at the wrong time.
MNF just keeps getting worse.
And if Tony Kornheiser keeps making cracks on Joe Thiesmann while on the air, I hope Joe kicks the crap out of him.
Tony, you need to keep your opinions on PTI, call the game, keep your dumb jokes to yourself.
They like to crack in Joe, but Joe told me that one game Tirico started telling a story, and didn't finish for 8 minutes FOOTBALL TIME!!
He would call a play, and go back to his story. Joe said he told him during a break you gotta keep your stories short, but Mike just kept on with it.
Now you have Jaws who does the same thing, and Tirico, and Tony who is almost as bad as Miller was.
I never thought I would miss Paul Frank and Al as much as I do now.

You seen her lately? I'm not so sure anymore.
Drinking the Kool-Aid again...
The Smeagol comparison is hilarious... especially considering that when they had Crowe on, Tony the tool joked that him and Crowe looked exactly alike.Chris Luva Luva wrote:Now tell me Tony doesn't look like Smeagol when on MNF.
MNF has turned into a roundtable talkshow, the game reduced to a "feature" that we occasionally get a peek at. Remember when you might get 2 or 3 looks at the MNF booth per night? With BSpn's telecast, the booth and the game get equal facetime. The game used to be on the pedestal but has now taken a backseat (understatement) to the primary goal of getting the casual viewer to watch the broadcast. BSpn needs a serious overhaul on all of it's decision-makers. The entire network is a played out joke. Everyone from the vets to the Dream Job winners that we never see thinks they have to be so cliche and be a star. I think Bob Lee is the only voice on the network that doesn't make me go on a search to find out where I misplaced the remote.
Cowboys 7- Redskins 6 (All we needed was 2 minutes of the 60)
Cowboys 17 - Redskins 0 (Way to NOT show up for the 100th anniversary)
----- TWO EASY -----

I'm still waiting for the ads for MNF to go something like
"This week, on ESPN's Monday Night Football; Our guys welcome Martha Stewart, Rosie O'Donnell, and musical guest American Idol finalist Sanjaya. Plus P.T.I., our Halftime show featuring highlights from the World Series, all with limited commercial interuption and occasional commentary on the Green Bay Packers and Denver Broncos game."
You know it's coming one of these days...

I love how sports writers who never play the game (high school thru pro) and make jokes on people who did. These guys think they are cool, when they are really just a bunch of groupies that wear suits. I think I will call up PTI or send an email and who gave them the right to joke on athletes in a sport they never had the ? for.
Though J Clayton is ok in my book!
