Play calling is hideous. Mental lapses. 7 points given to the Cards by STUPID defensive penalties... late hit on an incomplete pass??? Taunting??? Are you kidding????
Why was Warner not blitzed at least once or twice each possession? Get him thinking about protecting his arm, and you change his game. Stupid.
Where was any semblance of an attempt to make a vertical play every once in a while??? Stupid. Hey, coach... you aren't moving the ball on the ground? How the heck do you loosen up the box, except by passes outside the box?????
This is rediculous....
Can a win be classified as embarassing? This one qualifies.
Of all those legit gripes, the O-line is surely the most serious. Playcalling can be fixed, stupid penalties can be fixed, etc., but you can't pretend there's talent where there's not. Our back-ups are back-ups for a reason - they're not long-term starters (except maybe Wade, and he didn't have a good game today). With the O-line in it's current form, this team will be lucky to go 8-8. There's just no room for the run game, and JC is scrambling for his life. That was why there was no deep passing game today - there's no time for the WRs to get deep when the Cards were getting penetration on nearly every play.
When do Rabach and Thomas get back? Without at least one of them back on the line, there's not going to be a post-season for this team.

Wew.
When will Rabach return?
We are missing our linemen badly. With Jansen, Rabach, and Thomas in, this game would've been more in the 35-7 range than what we got. Just give us Rabach and it wouldn't have come down to a last-minute field goal.
I'm of the opinion that the worst plays of this season so far were the week 1 and week 2 plays that saw Jansen and Thomas go down, respectively.
This is a win, and I'll take a win over a loss any day, but this was probably the worst win I've witnessed by the Skins in a long time. The only positive I can take away fron this game is our D held up very well, especially considering they spent almost the entire game on the field. Our offense on the other hand is about 10 notches below pathetic and is going to cost this team most of the remaining games this season. I don't understand why this offense can't improve given all its high dollar players and coaches. It just never gets any better. I won't be able to bear to watch this team play teams like NE and Dallas as they are just going to get killed. They are without a doubt the worst 4-2 team in the league.

I agree with you. Just having Casey back will help a lot.
However, Gibbs went entirely too vanilla.
The road to the number 1 pick gaining speed!

Things are getting testy in the locker room. Consensus of opinion? Skins were lucky to win. Been on the other side too many times before. Everyone says, as bad as it was, they will take. Bottom line is they are 4-2. Back to watchinh film and going back to the drawing board.

That had nothing to do with the players... it was another reporter trying to worm his way into XXX's exclusive interview... the altercation was all the press!

Report is a local reporter was trying to break into the exclusive Larry, Sonny & Sam interviews (w/Samuels). O should have shown as much tenacity out on the playing field.

Proof?
Post-Game on radio. Chris Samuels nearly beat the hell out of some reporter.
Details?
That was all I got before I had to walk away. I think the intruder was "escorted" out. Samuels said someone spit on him but I couldn't tell if it was the reporter or a player during the game.

Im so tired of the conservative play calling, I know we have injuries on the o-line but this happens almost every game. Our D plays so good and they get a 3 and out and our O comes out and ( who ever is calling the plays ) calls 3 runs with about 13 mins left. That is the time you go for the win. Gibbs plays not to lose and we will not have a good and productive O with that mentality. Im glad for the win but I dont think we deserved it and that is the first time Ive ever said that. But its true.

Samuels said it was #94 on the Cards. He said that was when he lost it.

Did you notice that we called more than a few down field plays? Campbell checked them off. Either the receivers weren't getting open, or the timing was off. . .but it wasn't a refusal of coaches to take shots down the field.

If it was, we'll hear "inside source" stories about how Samuels has bad practice habits, punches babies, and curses out team receptionists.
I was thinking the same thing. "Insiders" will be full of more of his positive input every day, all week long.

How long will it take our O-Line to come together?
Will it ever come together?
Will our O ever again be able to sustain a drive in the latter stages of a game when we really need it?
I never saw a time when the O-line didn't do a decent job. The screen tip was Campbell's fault. The lack of running room was due to the 8-man box since we never threw it downfield. Maybe with a healthy offensive line we could run a little better against that 8th man, but it should never have to come to that.

If the Skins even had a mediocre offense, with the defense they have, they'd be 6-0 right and would be a dam good team. Unfortunately, the offense isn't even up to sucks yet.
