was he inactive against the Pack or did he come off with an injury? I don't really remember seeing him at all in the game

Joe Bugle said yesterday on channel 4 that there is a strong possibility that Fabini would move to Right Tackle, if Wade can not play this week. He also said that Demuling would be active for this game.

If this is his so called "natural position", then why have we not moved him after Jansen went out?

Because Randy went down also and Wade had filled in for JJ before.
