f any single factor cost this game, it was dropped and tipped passes...
None of those were influenced by the Green Bay defense.
Could be for the first half and part of 3rd quarter. It seemed that the game slipped away after Rabach was hurt, after Wade was hurt. I'm thinking about the series in second half just after Taylor made his INT. I believe it was Campbell fumble, Portis -4 on complete pass, finally Campbell sacked.
Even in the first half, the running game wasn't there.

We need to sit Portis until he is healthy. Also the weather played a major factor today. I still think we are in pretty good shape to make a run. All though I would love to have our team undefeated, realistically we are still in good shape. Our defense is still very solid, Jason Campbell is doing a decent job. Portis, Moss and the rest of the recievers had a bad game and they are afforded at least one bad game. I dont remember Portis ever having a bad game for us so I give him a pass on this one. Oh well on to the next game.
Exactly... TOs and dropped balls... we should have one that game... GB is not good... again Farve only had 188 and 2 INTS, top rusher has only 37, thier O only put up 10 points cause thier kicker is no good...we will bounce back

The offense lost it's spark. I know that Casey is indespinsibe but the offense quite frankly looked like they had given up.
The biggest mistake as far as the run game is concerned is that they tried too much outside stuff. Green Bay is a fast D, like Washington, and is very strong side to side. All those screens either were stopped at the line or went for a loss. Gotta know the d youre playing against.
The line got destroyed by injuries today. To have 2 tackles and the center go down and still have a chance is a big testiment to just how good the defense played. Can you really expect to win a game when nearly 50% (3 of 7) of your dressed O-Lineman go down? And regardless of these injuries, the O'line isn't the reason we lost.
Moss disappointed today. Big time. But he's a playmaker and will shine in the coming weeks. Throw him under the bus if you'd like, but I'll take him for the next 10+ games.
The same group that everyone is hatting on for playcalling was being praised last week. A little conservative, maybe, but if they catch the balls, a lot of the playcalling would look really good. Hard to keep throwning it when first downs are dropped 6 times.
ST needs to catch the ball more. Could of had like 4 ints today and like 8 for the year if he'd catch it. Don't think field position wise it hurt us, but mentally, if he catches all of them, GB would have been a different team offensive and defensively.
Well, at least the bandwagon is getting light. Should be a lot easier to drive now that all the hatters are jumping off after 5 games (and we're above .500 and 1 1/2 games out after the pukes loss).
Upsetting....yes. Reason to throw this team into the dumpsters?? Nope.

Man At least the Giants showed they had a O but are D was not the problem at all.I think that we gave moss 9 chances and we haven't won at GB for a long time.I say the skins really should of won this 21-10 or even 17-10 if we would of never done a WR reverse at all.I think we would of been ok had a 14-10 lead to at least win it like that but no excuses man I'm tired of us lossing like that. And above all when is Portis going to get like 100 yards and get Moss a TD for once.
Again our D played great and O had miscues... They need to forget about this game and move on. O Coaches need to do better calling plays. We need to do what we do. Running game was not bad and ey is the man (dont understand why he got no love in 2nd half). If a WR is not having a good game, put someone else in.
But be a good fan and say "chin up" to the players, get mad at the coaches
HAIL!!!

I'm not throwing him under the bus. But he's been dropping passes all season long. It finally came to a head this game. This wasn't a fluke, it's been building up.

You do not know this for sure. How soon we forget the Santana was the man in many games. They will be fine. I bet the line was GB by 3 and that is all they won by.

Moss no catches to day so he has only 199 total receving yards and no TD.
But An Career high 9 drops and one for a INT and FF.All i can say is where was Randle el all game ? and did we really need are WR besides ey and Marcdell?
Grimm wouldn't be the worst hire but I'd prefer someone that actually has some head coaching experience. I'm stuck by Gibbs but I think it's getting to the point where changes need to be made on the staff. It's the same problem with this staff over and over again. After 3+ plus seasons we should not be seeing these types of mistakes from the coaches.

Repeated for emphasis.
The Redskins had only 94 yards rushing; 6 first downs rushing and 11 first downs passing. It's got to be trouble when you replace Wade with Heyer because Wade is injured, and then replace Heyer with Wade because Heyer is injured. And your center is injured along the way.
I know this was sort of brought up before but if you think about it who has moss had as his QB Pennington and Brunell they are not known for throwing hard passes. moss is oustanding cathching those lame ducks that they throw, and then his first QB that throws hard all of a sudden he cannot catch. COME ON!!!!!!! he sucks he lost the game for us our defense palyed awesome gave up 10 pts. im sorry i hate saying this but what has Llyod done to lose a game. sorry for the long post but very frustated

Those injuries shouldn't have been an issue. They had ample chances to put this game away before the 4th quarter.

Dropped balls have been a big problem for the whole offense this season, including Moss. I don't recall it being a big problem for him in the past, and I'm pretty confident that this problem won't last much longer much less the last 10 games (for Moss that is).
Bottomline, if the team's dropped balls for the season were cut in half, Skins would be 5-0, destroying all the teams they played, and J Cam would be in route to the Pro-Bowl. I think fixing this one problem will go a long way to fixing the team.

Lets Fire Saunders and we would still probably have A chance to get Portis over at least 1300 and get better play calling.

I was actually having this conversation with a friend of mine a few days ago. It certainly is possible that part of Moss' problems have come from him just taking time to get used to Campbell's passes. Like you said, for the majority of his NFL he caught passes from Brunell and Pennington, two of the weakest armed qb's in the NFL. I'm not sure how much work Moss got with Campbell last season, but Moss was injured during preseason and has been banged up during the season also and has missed lots of practice time. If you take it back even further, Moss' qb at the U was Dorsey, who didn't have a very strong arm either. So hopefully his problems this season are just a result of him still getting used to Campbell. I know this is a thin argument but Moss has always had sure hands.
im sorry i hate saying this but what has Llyod done to lose a game
See last year's Tampa Bay game that we lost by 3 points. Our every first offensive play Campbell throws a deep ball that goes through Lloyd's hands that would've been a sure td catch. On the flip side, what has Lloyd ever done to win us a game? Was he the one that made the td catches in the Dallas comeback? Was he the one that scored in OT against the Jags last season? Did he break the Skins single season receiving record a few years ago? I don't think so. Yes Moss has struggled this season but the guy has done a lot of great things for this franchise so hate on him if you want, but don't go comparing him to Lloyd.
OK Heres the things I notice so far as a Redskins.
In the Half for Example the Giants we looked like we where invincible and no way to lose with a 17-7 lead.Than in the Half had bad play calling and that the D gave up big 3rd down plays.
Like today?:
In the Half Ill admit the Packs got us on that 52-yard catch on A play action but right after we had a 14-7 lead and would get ball back. The D was stepping up and Taylor dropped 5 int total and only got 2 but the D looked good.
But in the Half are O made horrible play calling again and Ive notice something real huge that when the skins have a 14-0 or 14-7 lead we never could score a TD after the half.
