Interviews in the locker room are making every player, and Coach Joe, sound like a deer in the highlights. No one has any answers. Clueless?

The Lloyd play was not an easy catch but when a receiver can get both hands on the ball he needs to make the catch. McCardell did well but right now we have some serious problems at receiver. With the way that Moss is playing we don't have a real #1 and ARE tends to disappear in games. I think that a game like today is where it really hurts us not having a big, physical possession-type receiver. I think that this, along with the offensive line, needs to be addressed in the next draft.
I agree and I think the Redskins would have to be crazy not to have somewhat of a shakeup at WR this year.
O-line will be a given. There is no way this same unit comes in next year and lasts more than a few games.

They should convert Betts.

O-line, I agree. Even if Thomas and Jansen come back, it won't be the same unit *grin*. No, we need young depth at guard, and some at tackle.
As for wideout, that's harder. Rookie WRs generally have a hard time making an impact, so I'm not exactly sure what we could do to improve our WR corps asides from signing a FA...
Nah, let's get the collapse now, get it out of our system. Playing guys who are not 100%, IS NOT GOOD, THEY ARE HURTING US MORE THAN THEY ARE HELPING. Campbell and cooley did everything they could. The defense was there as usual. Slangin and killing guys, and a new trick for this season "interceptions" hehehe

To what? a water boy?
Dude ran a route short of the sticks on a 4th down play.. We did not play up to potential and it's spread all around. I'd put the defense on a separate plane on the way home, don't want that epidemic to spread.

I only have 4 things to say:
1.- CATCH the ball.
2.- HOLD ON to the ball.
3.- GET A REAL coaching staff.
4.- GET A REAL owner.
If I say anything else, I will absolutely be banned for life.

[sarcasm] Sean Taylor cost us this game. Try holding on to a few more of those passes, there, Meast... if he had held on to 3 more of those, we win... [/sarcasm]
Man, he was all over those deep routes...

He ran the route as it was designed. It was the first read. Jason needed to look it off, and go to #2, or to wait another second.

AWESOME RANGE, that was what I was thinking, I mean the reciever was long gone from the CB and next thing he knows Meast is over top catching the ball.
EDIT: I hat typing on a laptop, letters too close together. If it was designed that way then we need to alter that design or call another play that goes beyond the sticks. JC was getting pressure all day, I can see why he was antsy to get it out of his hand.

It's a shame that such a great defensive effort on his part and by the defense overall was squandered...

When was the last time in Redskins history that one unit was hurt this badly?
QB's in the "body bag" game. I gather -- didn't see the game -- that they brought Wade back when Heyer got hurt. In BB, Humphries got urt, was replaced by Rypien, who was hurt, Humphries came back and was hurt, and was replaced by the third-string active QB...college QB turning into kick returner and runner named Brian Mitchell.
It appears that:
- field was slippery
- OL lost RT twice and C...and Rabach is important
- Moss made several key drops. I'd play Keenan McCardell a lot, even if I wasn't sentimental about the last active player with SB 26 ring.
In spite of it, Redskins were in control, leading 14-10 and driving (in GB territory?) when Moss fumbled on a reverse. Redskins TD finishes the game.
I don't like that reverse to Moss, especially on a sloppy field when Moss is coming back from leg injury.
Sounded like they fought, but lost it for good when Rabach was hurt.
Overall, I suspect that an offense is more delicately balanced than a defense. Knock down the OL with injuries, and the offense doesn't work.
Not sure about the clock management, but I agree with Gibbs calling a timeout about 4th and 1 on the last serious drive. That was the game play, and they had to get it right. No confusion, no misunderstandings.
Other timeouts, I don't know. Couldn't follow that closely.
Also GB defense is better than Detroit.
This did not seem like the Giants game at all.
As for what the TV experts say...I could not care less. Don't watch them.
Our defense played a very good game. We lost this game due to turnovers, and dropped passes. Plain and simple.
We need to sit Portis until he is healthy. Also the weather played a major factor today. I still think we are in pretty good shape to make a run. All though I would love to have our team undefeated, realistically we are still in good shape. Our defense is still very solid, Jason Campbell is doing a decent job. Portis, Moss and the rest of the recievers had a bad game and they are afforded at least one bad game. I dont remember Portis ever having a bad game for us so I give him a pass on this one. Oh well on to the next game.

If any single factor cost this game, it was dropped and tipped passes...
None of those were influenced by the Green Bay defense.
And that "pick" by Woodson... what a hideous call. Dual possession, all the way... goes to the Skins.

Fire Al Saunders?
Alright guys I know moss had like 7-9 drops and a drop for an INT but every thing else where bad call.Only thing I liked was
ey with 104 -td but right after he was doing all the work. And wtf is up with portis 3rd stright game with less than 80 yards with 20 carriers and 60 yards again.
Than ...............this is rich................an 14-10 lead at the packs 38-39 or whatever and did a WR Reverse ......................and turned into a TD that made them win. This is the second game straight with horrible half time decision and on a 4th down with 5 mins left we trow to betts instead of trying to run in a 4th and 2 or even better had a open Marcdell.
My Grade on the game BTW?.

I am not going to jump of the Moss bandwagon just yet.
He is hurt, not at 100%. Yes he is one of the reasons we lost, but he has been a hero in the past.
REMEMBER THE COWBOY GAME??
He has made alot more catches than drops.
BUT.......
As much as I hate to say it, I think the Gibbs era part 2 need to end.
YOU CAN'T WIN IN THIS LEAGUE WITHOUT CLOCK MANAGEMENT.
There are too many close games these days. Without clock management you will be dead in the water.
Gibbs said they will look at film tomorrow, and he is sure that he will see alot of guys that played their heart out.
I hope he sees on film that his clock managment let all of the guys that were playing their heart out down.
We should have never been put in that situation, but the coaching staff seemed all panicy when we need them most.
