Couldn't have happened to a more deserving person.
Now, if Andre Carter gets voted defensive player of the week all will be right with the world.

I have Campbell on both my fantasy teams for a reason. That reason is I believed that he would be a stud by mid season. Hopefully, with another good game this week, my hopes will be one step closer to becoming true.

Also on the page that bernie linked to was this:

The Pack is averaging just 3.3 yards per carry, 28th in the NFL; they rank first in passing yards per game (294.6)

Two weeks in a row we face the #1 passing attack. If we shut the packers down like we shut the lions down, we have to be considered one of the best coverage teams in the league if not THE BEST. I really hope the defensive front 4 can carry over the effort and determination they had against the lions. If that happens, goodnight green bay.

Looking at the Fudgepackers receiving stats, it looks like all Favre does is throw deep. Right where Taylor and Landry will be waiting.

It looks to me like if the Redskins shut down Driver and Jennings, Favre & company will have a long day. My 2 cents

woohoo, good for him. JC is sounding like a leader, although he missed on the Joke about ARE getting hurt...
#21 (36) This IS and will always be the High watermark where all new DB's are measured.

I have only watched GB once (sun against the Bears) and Favre rarely threw deep. Everything was short and quick and the yards were all after catch. He probably only threw 3 over 15 yards. That's why his stats are up. He is using the Brunnel approach.

The Brunell approach? Hope the defense can't tackle? :P

Yep. The Packers throw these quick hitting slants; high completion, almost guarenteed 6-7 yards each time. Break one tackle, or make your guy miss, and it's 20 yards.

Just looking at the stats for GB:

305.4 yds a game (1st Place): 9 TD's on the year(8th), only 4 int's(10th Fewest), 9 sacks(15th), 67.1% completion (7th) & 1527 yds a game (1st).

This would put their offense ranked 8th

NOW FOR US:

217.3 yds game (17th), 4 tds (22nd), 3 ints (8th best), 5 sacks (7th), 59.3% completion (22nd) & 869 passing yds game (26th)

As good as Jason played last week, there are area's where we can totally improve. I'm afraid that this attention our team is going to go to our head. We have a huge opportunity this week if we can knock off Green Bay. Thats an NFC win. If we loose, thats 2 NFC losses. Unacceptable. This team is better than that but they have to play with their foot to the floor. Full speed ahead. Not, we are so good that our talent will win games not intensity. Thats whats going on with my NC State Mens Football team. Just my thoughts.

1527 yards per game? That's GOT to be an NFL record

I totally agree. Props to JC for the honors, but lets not get ahead of ourselves here. We did do an awesome job against Detroit, but its still the Lions. This week will be our first real test. If we can play similarly (i dont think we can play GB like we did Det) to what we did last week, then we will prove something. Just like Dallas is getting their first real test of the season, so are we. I would be ecstatic to see a similar performance against GB because then people are going to have to start paying attention to us. Until then, Im going into the game with reserved excitement.
