Hey If Daniels is to old than why not trade for A brown.

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

IDK about you guys but if Danny who always trades picks could be smart to just give the bears for the 28 year old DE.The guy can tackle and pressure and only reason hes not starting is cause Anderson had 17 sacks last year and didn't start.

So Why can't we get this guy hes younger than Daniels and would help alot more cause at the CB position could be an problem and we need to probably draft an 1st round CB.

No one is going to make an even trade like that. Where do you suppose the Redskins are going to find the cap room to sign such a player? Seeing as how the Redskins already have about $9.2 Million in "Dead Cap"
they would have to once again play the game of "Pay Now, Pay Later". It would be nice if they would break that habit.

Even aside from the Redskins end of things, who says the Bears want to trade this player? The Bears defense is not the issue. They might be willing to trade for Jason Campbell. Do you really want to see that happen?

for real ? this topic has been beaten over the head already.. and I highly doubt we are drafting a 1st round corner.. our secondary isnt bad.. its the schemes Gregg is using.. not the players.. we have corners suited to play man coverage.. not to sit back 10 yards and guard the underneath stuff even though Rogers is an excellent tackler.. watch the games.. look at what kind of formation our D is in

The Bears are only seeking a third- or fourth-round pick in exchange for disgruntled DE Alex Brown, according to ESPN's Len Pasquarelli.
However, a deal may hinge on suitors reaching a sign-and-trade agreement with Brown, who wants more money. Chicago has the depth to move Brown, and the Titans and Chiefs are considered the early favorites to get him.

Also we can release Brunell and Lloyd right now but only reason we haven't is cause we don't have the back up yets.

First of all, your source is ESPN. Enough said. Secondly, it says he wants more money. Thirdly, releasing Brunell and Lloyd would cost more in dead cap space than it it would be worth. Fourth, the Redskins appear to have stopped trading away draft picks. Fifth, they need to cut about 20 more players to make room for all of your sign-and-trade deals.

Wouldn't you think if its coming from ESPN than it should be happening?.

fter speaking with the Bears about disgruntled DE Alex Brown, the Titans determined Chicago's asking price was too high.
One report in early June said the Bears were only seeking a third- or fourth-round pick in exchange for the former Pro Bowler. Brown is currently penciled in as Chicago's No. 3 end, behind Mark Anderson and Adewale Ogunleye.

I love it when guys that have never even thought of the salary cap, talk trades and cuts... it's so... primitive.

And ESPN is obviously the harbinger of all sports knowledge and Lenny Pigsquarelli has never been wrong in his life. Foreal

Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

Have you seen the Bears injury list on the D since the start of the season? No way they let Brown go right now.
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom – for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.
