My ritual if I"m not going to the game is either Ben's Chili Bowl (DC tradition 2 blocks from my house) or my wife makes a mean vat O chili. Call up the crew, knock a few back and watch them win.

Here lately it has been drowing my sorrows in Tequilla, forget food....but if they are having a good year I go for beer, ribs, wings, pizza and more beer at the same time.

Ritual # 2 when I go to the game (I split tix w/ my fam so I usually make half the home games):

Pack the cooler and meet my crew about 4 hours before the game, grill it and chill it, and head in...

Somedays I'll have a brisket, ribs, and a couple of chickens out on the smoker.

Lately it has been 2 dozen wings and as much beer as it took to drown my sorrows, hopefully this year I won't need as much beer, rough next morning at the office.

Hey Skinschic or Jake, do you guys sit in section 112? I sit in section 113 and someone in 112 wears a signed McCants jersey. Probably coincidence but thought I'd ask...

Extra hot venison chili or jerk pork AAAHHH. My new strategy is to picture the deer with a cowgirl jersey on so maybe I won't miss the #@&^ thing like last season.

Oh ..... and a frosty Killians

Buffalo and terriyaki chicken wings, buffalo shrimp, and as many boddingtons as it takes to make it through a game  . That's been the past 11 year's tradition. Here's to grilled surf and turf, chilled beer, and a winning season.

When I grew up in Maryland my mom would make something she called Redskin food on sundays, it's called apple cheese.

Shred an apple, mix it with cinnamon and sugar, put it on toast with velveeta cheese on top. Bake it until the cheese melts, and then broil it until the cheese bubbles.

That's what I've head every game since then, twenty years ago. It's gotton to the point where I eat one piece for each 1/4 and save one for overtime. This whole Steve Spurrier/Marty Shottenheimer?Norv Turner era I've sworn I've just made it wrong.

But now I think I'll be making it right.
