McNabb plays the race card

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

McNabb should come here and see how Mark Brunell and Todd Collins are treated. Sure, he's dissed because he's black. Brunell has clearly had the career McNabb has, though TC's a career hack.

I have no sympathy for a millionaire of any color who wants to cry to me they're not getting a fair shake. Aw, baby. Poor guy. My heart is just breaking.

And while I consider McNabb one of the better QB's in the NFL, all I can say to comparing him to Payton whom I'm no particular personal fan of is:

ROTFALMAO

I agree, especially since they play different positions

I'd be very curious to see them swap careers, I don't understand why you consider a Donovan/Peyton comparison to be laughable

I consider McNabb to be a very good quarterback. I consider Peyton to be a hall of famer. No dis to McNabb's ability, he's a very good quarterback, but if you were picking a team would you at any point in McNabb's career even consider choosing him over Peyton as your quarterback?

McNabb played the Ace card?
Did he win the hand?

No the "race" card, he won the pink slip I thought.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I would consider taking him over Peyton. I love Peyton, go back through my posts and you'll find that I am a fervent supporter but I certainly don't see the which-one-do-you-start-a-team-with question to be cut and dried.

I would like to see how McNabb would perform with the recievers Indi has...

granted the QB make the receivers look good and vice versa, but I think McNabb would be great if he had similar caliber offensive help.

Peyton is mos def a HOF...but I dont rank McNabb far behind him when he is healthy.

I mean who needs 21 touchdowns a season? Oh and he'd also thrown for a totally lame just under 10,000 yards at that point and rushed for over 1,800 yards. I'm with Rush, an average of 2,500 yards passing, 400 yards rushing and 21 touchdowns while completing over 55% of your passes per season is LAME. Oh, also, the fact that Donovan was getting sacked about 35 times a season was also totally his fault.

Stas of a good QB, maybe even very good, but not supersatr status he had when Rush made his comments.

That's a ridiculous statement, I give you a paragraph of stats and you come back with those are not superstar stats.
Thanks for conceding the point

They just aren't.

Go back and look at Mark Rypien's stats. He threw 84 TDs his first four years, had a higher yards per attempt average than McNabb's and was never considered a star let alone a superstar!

Bulger threw the same number of TDs that McNabb did in his first four years at a much higher yards/attempt average and he still isn't considered a superstar.

Ok, those two had great WRs how about this. In 2003 Tom Brady had started one season less than McNabb had. Only threw two less TD (of course he averaged 23/year to #5's 21). His WR were just as bad and he had won two superbowls, but he still didn't make Madden and at that time was not as big a star as McNabb.

Matt Hasselbacks first four years starting were comparable to McNabbs as well and he still isn't considered a superstar.

Trent Greens first 4 years as a starter he threw 82 TDs, 12,977 yards, 7.5 yards/attempt. Never considered a superstar!

You might as well consede, because you are wrong on this one!

This is a bunch of crap. All Qbs who dont perform get are under alot of scrutinty. Grossman, Rivers, Charlie Frye whoever does not perform will recieve criticism. Also Mcnabb plays in the ruthless city of philly.
