His play before the end of the half was incredible, but it unnecessarily added to the drama that made the Skins coaches look incredibly inept on national TV. My 2 cents

I don't know what the refs or you were looking at, because the first thing that came down on ARE was his shoulder. And it came down right on the line and by NFL rules he was out of bounds and the clock should have stopped!

Now should he have made a bigger effort to get out of bounds? Yes! But since he did get out of bounds, I'll let him slide.

yea he definetly got out of bounds they blew that one.. and I have no problem having him fight for the extra yards to try and get the TD.. they practice situations where you have no time outs all year long.. he left ample time for them to run up and spike the ball if necessary

You don't get to carry them over. I was fine with the time-outs, and the way they were called.

It has been rough, pretty ugly at times and we are going through the pains of a young quarterback. At the same time though, our young quarterback is the one that is correcting his mistakes and making just enough plays to give us the win.

I see a lot of potential just waiting to explode. My bet is that it will happen sometime within the next 5 games. I think he is just that good. When it happens, the league will be forced to take notice that the Washington Redskins are for real and very dangerous on the football field.

The last 2 games are so reminicent of Gibbs 1st tenure here. Great defense, just enough offense and worrying about the outcome of the game in the 4th quarter.

Agreed! That would have been a huge issue had we not have scored a TD anyway.

From where I was sitting, I couldn't hear the TV...so I didn't hear that.

The Redskins were in a "Prevent" defense. Torrence is the fastest player on the Redskins and can cover a lot more ground than can Springs in a prevent defense. Torrence also wasn't winded from playing the entire game. I'm guessing that would be a couple of reasons.

Boy I'd love to hear Springs say he was too winded to be in there when it mattered most... especially if McNab had connected on that pass he missed in front of Torrence... I still think Springs is our best corner, whether he's the fastest or not...

Someone may have mentioned this already:
Let's thanks Mcnugget for his awful play last night. We all know he can be a threat when he's at his best. He was dreadful.

Our D sacked him 3 times and he was OFF target many times too....

They have no EXCUSES.....we beat them fair and square.

Uh we certainly remember Gibbs I a lot differently.

Out of the 12 years he was there, we were a top 5 offense 6 times. Top 10 offense 9 times. Top 5 defense twice, top 10 defense 5 times.

Scored 541 points in 1983, a then NFL record.

Our teams were overall offensive powerhouses. Sometimes our defense kicked butt.

Very, very different.

Head coach Andy Reid immediately suspended practice while Philly police and Federal Investigators were called in to investigate. After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance unknown to the players was the goal line.

Actually, with all of the whining they seem to be doing I'd be more inclined to believe that white substance was estrogen.
