Green Bay Packers wide receiver Koren Robinson and Miami Dolphins running back Ricky Williams are seeking reinstatement to the NFL after serving their suspensions, according to media reports.
Williams is eligible to seek reinstatement by the NFL after Oct. 1 and will do so, his attorney said Friday. And Robinson has submitted his application for reinstatement, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.
Robinson's agent, Alvin Keels, told the Journal Sentinel his client is working out in Phoenix while the commissioner's office reviews his application. He said Robinson was eligible 60 days before the Oct. 17 anniversary of his one-year suspension.
Robinson's suspension followed alcohol-related arrests, most recently an Aug. 15, 2006, incident in Mankato, Minn., in which he allegedly led police on a high-speed chase and was charged with having a blood-alcohol level of 0.11, above the Minnesota legal limit of 0.08.
Do ya think Goodell is getting soft after the NE punishments? Let's see if either of these clowns are allowed to return.

I'd take a flyer on Robinson. Besides, he was probably not near as drunk as 2/3 of the people in the parking lot on any given Sunday.
If Williams gets reinstated, who would really be interested in him. He obviously just can't or won't smoking weed. I wouldn't want to rely on him. He could fail another test at any time.
