Westbrook needs 4 catches to pass Wilbert Montgomery on the Eagles all-time receptions by a RB list. If McIntosh and Fletcher can keep that from happening, I like the 'Skins chances.
Also, let's look at some stats from the last time these two teams met:
There is no reason we should have lost that game. We've got to punch it in the end zone. I love the fact we've got a guy in Suisham that we can count on in the clutch, but let's count on him for clutch extra points.

1. Get the early lead. If we go down early and have to throw the ball, Campbell may try to force it. Turnovers on the road would kill us.
2. Contain Westbrook. The DEs need to keep containment and not let Westbrook (and McNabb) get outside or cut back across the field for the big play. As long as the defense hits their gaps, we should be able to shut down their running game.
3. Secondary must get an INT. The secondary will be tested over and over until they show they can make the pick. I think Taylor steps up here tonight.

The stat that really sticks out to me is the TD's vs FG's. We need to score more TD's because FG's just don't cut it. I mean we outplayed them on everything except for getting in the end zone.
Thanks for the stats JansenFan - It just supports the idea that we were not as bad as our record last year - but all that means little to both these teams - we need to shut down the run IMO and see if MacNabb still has the legs - this guy seems like he is not the running threat he was and that was a big advantage for them. Also, I really am hoping that we can get a lot of yards on the ground and stop their running game - if we can make MacNabb have to try and just be a passing QB I believe we will win this game
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
