Phillip Daniels

I heard on the radio that Phillip Daniels says if the game were today he would not be playing. Who is currently the backup. This is not good.

The back-up is Demetric Evans who has started before. Relax man. Phillip Daniels is 35 and I don't see him being that significant of a loss for the Eagles game. Evans will be fine and Wilson will come in on third downs to rush the passer. A loss, yes, but not a big enough one to panic about.

Montgomery is the starting tackle and Golston rotates in. Daniels plays end, so Evans is definitely the back-up.

You are correct, fands57. Evans is the primary backup, and Chris Wilson (who is fast but small) might see some playing time in passing situations. Daniels is listed as probable, so I think there's a good chance that we will see him come Monday. If not, we should still be OK, I think.

Wilson may just surprise all of us. He needs to bulk up.... maybe he can talk to Barry Bonds about it.........hehehe

I think we'll see mostly Evans with Boschetti in short yardage situations.

Washington Redskins defensive end Phillip Daniels did not practice again Saturday and was downgraded to doubtful for Monday night's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
