Have you already forgotten we have a new DC, one that has had his D at the top of the league every year?? Smoot and Springs will be alright...we're not done yet with the D patients BC patients!

trust me I have patience, you cant be redskin fan if you didnt have patience for the last decade or so, yes we have a quality d-cord (george edwards didnt know what the hell he was doing...worst d-cordinator ever), but the actual quality of talent on the d-line sucks and the secondary is very sketchy, smoot is solid and springs is solid when he is healthy, but trust me springs is going to get injured!! like he does almost every year, people are just overlooking how injury prone our corners are

We thought the same thing last year.

and for the record, i don't doubt williams at all. he did coach the number 2 defense in the leauge last year. and he definantly has my respect. i mean for real, how many yards did we gain against buffalo last year? a total of ten maybe :x

Yeah and he had a better line than what we had here in Washington. We need a pass rusher and another stud in the middle.

I hear you. I want Sean Taylor a lot. After losing Bailey, to me it makes even more sense to get Taylor so we can enhance our secondary. Its not like we haven't done anything to our d-line. From some of the articles I've read, Williams will use the d-line to stop the run and linebackers to pass rush. But who knows. I would lean towards a D-linemen in the draft if there was a Kearse or Peppers there, but there isn't. That's why I want Sean Taylor. We do have a need at saftey. I really don't see any D-linemen in this years draft that can make a bigger impact than ones you could get in FA or after the June 1st cuts. But whatever Gibbs and Williams want is what will be best.
Let us all gather around and drink the Cooley-Aid of the Redskins.

I thought the defense played pretty well at times last season. In spite of having no D linemen in the middle, we were in games. Too many dumb penalties, too many dropped balls, not enough playmakers. I'm sick of Ohalate too - please get him outta here!
