Great Win!!!!!!!! I have to give props to our o-line for providing decent protection. Heyer seems like he can hold his own against Miami's D-line and the running game looks solid. Campbell needs to have a little more touch but I think that will come along as the season goes on.

Because if you miss, you give up possession, no matter what the down is.

And a 40 yard field goal is no gimme.

So, the Fins #4 D gives up 400 yds of total O to the Skins.

Skins rush for 178 yds.

Ronnie Brown = 11 carries for 34 yds against our 31st ranked D.

HMM!!! Seems like someone (we all know who) was way off on his Hognostications although the game did turn out to be a close one.

I have to admit I was hoping we'd look better (see Jason Campbell) but 1-0 is 1-0 any way you look at it.

Nice win guys. Let's get ready for Philly next week because they are going to be hungry after dropping one today.

FYI guys, a post gameday discussion thread has been opening for all debate, hatred, nitpicking, making fun of or any type of celebration you may have in your heart.

- a win is a win is a win

- for the stat-happy:

o Skins RB named Portis Betts gained about 155 yards on 34 carries

o someone named F Smoot made six tackles...not bad

o J Campbell has some learning. No, it's not good to drive downfield and throw an INT in the end-zone. But they play the game to win...

Campbell looked uneasy at times, but I think this is a lot of pressure on his shoulders, and with everything considered, he looked good. The Lloyd interception could have easily been a TD...he had man covereage, maybe just at tad overthrown, and a mistimed jump by Lloyd.
