What games are they wearing the Yellow Helmet and throwbacks

Have they listed what game the Skins will be using the yellow R helmet and white throwback jerseys? I hope they use them in the opener. Is it limited to just 2 games? I know NFL had a rule that teams could only use throwback/alternate jersey 2 times max per season.

I think the rules are different for anniversary jerseys. I beleieve in theory they can wear those at all home games if they choose.

If we win in these jereseys... I wouldn't be shocked to see them more than twice. Especially if its a blow out.

It's a shame we're punished for years with the white unis and when we finally want to get some BURGUNDY AND GOLD in us, they give it for 2 games.

Yes, I'm talking about those wretched stupid all white unis that we also wore during our abysmal 2006 season. Those uniforms don't do jack to win games, it's about execution!

We're Redskins, we're Burgundy and Gold. Not white on white. We're not the Cardinals. Or the Colts.

If they're altering the uniform then they may as well keep the rice uniforms. This isn't about celebrating our history, it's confirmation that this is just to get more cheese from the sheep.

yea I dont get it either.. for some reason we only like to wear the white.. which is a cowboys move( we should not be doing anything they do) .. you dont see the Steelers giving up there Blacks Uni's or any other team for that matter

They're changing the colors, might as well change the name while they're on a roll. I can't believe they're not putting burgundy in these uni's!! That just burns me up!

I wish I knew.. if you go back the last 3 years that Gibbs has been here weve maybe worn Burgandy jerseys a handful of times.. and that was only because we were forced to because the other team was at home and chose to wear there whites.. mainly the cowboys.

I agree, if they can only make one version of the throwback, they should have gone with the burgandy. The white throwback jersey just doesn't seem as nice. I assume all jersey colors will have the 75 th ANN. patch on them. I can only imagine what i'm going to have to shell out on gameexclusives.com for a gamer. Atleast they finally dropped AA game used jerseys from last season to almost half, they need to drop them andother 50% and then they might sell. I do love the yellow R early 70's helmet that is being used again. Is it confirmed yet that they will use them this Sunday?

Wouldn't they need to practice in the uni's to get Jason used to the colors? QB's often throw to color on the field when things break down. He's been sight adjusting to brugundy for three years. I remember Norv talking about that when the whole league did retro unis way back. Seems like they'd were these in practice and from practice cam they've been in the current uni.

I agree the retro looks cool. It also looks like Ronald McDonalds outfit a little. But hey, I love McD's!

Practice has been closed so who knows... I doubt it though but you do bring up an interesting point.
