Chris Mortensen: The Redskins have a little cat-swallowed-the-canary demeanor right now, which means they think they’re a lot better than most people think. So, yes, with London Fletcher at MLB, and rookie safety Laron Landry combined with a freak-athlete safety in Sean Taylor, plus Fred Smoot back at corner, they should be more competitive. Maybe a sleeper.

Love the Skins, one thing I've learned is they are just totally unpredictable these days. Every year I think I have a handle and end up having no idea.

I've been going over the schedule and IMO, even if we split the divisional games, Green Bay is a win. Buffalo is a win. Tampa is a win. I even see us winning at the Jets with losses to the Pats and Chicago. 11-5 for me.
