Does anyone do anything for each other here like offer to put the games they recorded on a dvd for those less fortunate ?

If so, I would love that. I'm not gonna be able to see anygames living in Bmore.

Does anyone know how to get the info on a Directv HD DVR on to a computer hard drive? If so I can make them into a DVD. Of course I would "loan" said DVD to anyone that needed an copy. First I have to figure out how to get it off of the DVR.

let me try something...I'm gonna plug my dvd recorder into the tv with the dvr and see if I can record from it. I'll give you the results in a couple hours.

How is the quality of SopCast? Would it be better or worse than going to a sports bar to see the game on the corner HDTV.

its pretty good. From time to time it will freeze but I really liked it. its obviously not HDTV and I like the fact I can sit and watch with my own beer as opposed to paying 5.00 per beer at a bar.
