Yep, Campbell looked really good. I still think you guys should get rid of Portis and move forward with Betts. Portis is a bum IMO.

We're not in trouble. There is NO WAY the Skins blow us out. You have a chance to win, but you're not scoring 20 points on us and your defense is one of the worst in the NFL.

My prediction is 21-10 Dolphins. Miami defense forces 2 turnovers, 1 of which leads to a short field and easy Miami TD.

One of the worst Defenses? Tell Chambers to bring his ass across the middle against Landry and Taylor and let me know what he thinks then!!

Chambers over the middle and Ginn down field all day. It won't be our passing game, it'll be the forced turnovers and 150 yards from Ronnie Brown that does the Redskins in a week from today.

I find it hard to believe that your boy Ronnie will be getting 150 yards against us.. and thats not because of how improved our D is (which it is) but its the simple fact that he hasnt even been named the starter for the year yet.. your new coach Cam Cameron isnt impressed with him and has made it an open competition all training camp and preseason and he STILL hasnt earned the nod yet.. the fact that Jesse Chatman is pushing for your starting RB spot doesnt say much for ol Ronnie .. but I'm sure you knew all of that.. and I believe there was also some division in the locker room and front office on who should even be your starting QB

then you have Porter trying to come back from an injury this preseason and I saw somewhere a mention of Vonnie Holliday ROTFALMAO as if he has been some kind of force the last few years.. hes been washed up since he left GB

If you buy into the BS that Ronnie isn't our starter, you just don't get it. There's no chance Jesse Chatman beats out Ronnie for the job. It's obvious Cam is sending messages this off-season. (Saying Green wasn't the for sure starter, pulling Ginn off returns, benching Shelton for most of the pre-season, reporting that Chambers is on the block, and now Ronnie may not start.) It's all smoke and mirrors for motivation. Oh, and by the way, he was named the starter yesterday.

Ronnie has had some huge games in his career. He absolutely torched the Bears for 150+ last year. If he gets any kind of seem and isn't forced to improvise on every single run, he can put up huge yard totals.

Alright, I'm almost forced to stop reading your post after the Holliday comment? You've never seen a Dolphins game, that's for sure. Holliday had 7 sacks last year and was great agaisnt the run. You're clueless in that aspect.

Joey Porter will be fine, I'm not worried about him.

Watch a Dolphins game, then come back.

And missed 1/4th of the season. Yeah, not very good year behind the league's worst OL and worst play caller.

This is such a silly topic. The Skins are primed for a great season in Gibbs 4th year back with a young QB coming into his own, two premiere backs, one of the best tight ends in the league entering his prime, average receivers and a great defense. The Dolphins have a new coach, new QB who is 107 years old, an old defense, etc. There is simply no chance the Dolphins come into our house and beat us. Not one little, itty-bitty chance.

A coach that built one of the leauge's best offenses the past few years, a proven QB, a GREAT defense (I don't give a how old they are, they're great.)

You failed to mention the Skins inconsistant below average receievers, 31st ranked defense from a year ago and the fact Campbell is still unproven. Is the sky burgandy and gold in your world or what?

The Skins are going to be like 5-11 or 6-10 this year. To say the Dolphins have no chance is a bit of a stretch.

Ba-zing.

I think its time to point out that in week 1 it won't be the Fins who dictate who wins but rather about if the Skins want to. In every matchup aspect the Fins lose to us. SO... it will be the Skins' game to lose. I just don't see that taking place.

The fins have a good shot though...lol.... They certainly did right by signing an old man who really doesn't seem to belong in a starting role, hasn't reflected the success he had in KC after his concussion, and he won't be around next year is my guess. Good commentator probably. I wouldn't listen or care but.....see you Sunday 1pm.

Hmm... San Diego's offense, or Washingtons???

Hmm.. more proven, Campbell or Green???

Great defense in Washington? Let me guess, those 16 games where you guys ranked 31st was a fluke, right?

Yeah, taht stellar offense has the edge over our top 3 defense. Man, I thought I was a homer, that's the biggest homer statement I've ever seen.

When was your defense ever top 3? Ours was two seasons ago, before we were decimated by injuries. We will be back to that form this season, with healthy veterans and a few young studs sprinkled in for speed and durability. No, the fish will be lucky to break .500 this season. Better luck next year.

Looker deeper Aquaman. You've been hanging with the fishies too long or have an earache from water in your ear. We had the #4 run offense and led the league not giving up sacks. Given those are your defenses only accomplishments- rather the face of your teams identity I'd say don't embarrass yourself.

But thanks for coming out. Submariner tell him about those lovely parting prizes.....

A proven QB? You keep saying that. Green's level of success was solely the product of Al Saunders offense. I can prove that by looking at Trent's career statistics prior to working under Al and his lack of success after Al left.Just look at the numbers for yourself. He was nothing before Al and is nothing after Al. There is absolutely no way Trent ever performs to the level he did under Al Saunders.

You keep talking about your great defense. Yes, they were pretty good the past few years. But that was the product of Nick Saban, an excellent defensive mind. I know you'll say that Dom Capers was the defensive coordinator last year, but everyone knows Saban was and is the defensive mastermind that called the shots. Capers never fielded a competitive defense in Houston. So we'll see how that aging defense does under Capers this year. I predict they will not be as good, in all seriousness.

Notice he remains silent about anything NOW. Nothing is intimidating about the Dophins Offense. Trent Green is your QB- that's not something to boast about.

I'm still stunned the Dolphins dismantled their team and changed their offense and future to bring in a geriatric QB like Green. And this guy Aqua can't get off TGreen's lap to see reality.
Such a shame ever since they got put out of the playoffs that year RWilliams was at the height of his position could catch/run then he wasted the team through illegal substance- The defense was in its heyday like 5 years ago. Their window has slammed shut until they get a QB that was born in the 80's but by then the defense will have retired and dismantled. So I understand why this game means so much to guys like Aqua.

It's all they have left..... utter hopelessness in the present moment. And as a Redskin fan I can relate but that expired and we are on the rise.

on page 6 last years defense was #4, now on page 12 it's #3. By the end of the week last years Dolphins defense will be #1. Too bad that won't help you this year. I hope your mouthy ass comes back next week, but everyone here knows you will delete your account, crawl back into your closet, and hope next year you will have a competitive team. don't worry only 370 days til next football season.

Looks like they will start off at least 0-3. Washington, Cowboys, Jets....I'm not sure the Raiders won't take in in week 4.

Like most people on this board, I feel that it is regretable to refer to an SI article, much less one from one of Peter King's articles, to support our positiion. So, please forgive me. But, in this case, I do believe that this excerpt refutes Mr. Aquaman's hyped up feelings about the Fins aging QB.

"WAIT FOR JOHN BECK, ALEXANDRE. From Alexandre Rowe of Montreal: "An interesting fact: we will probably see at one point this year as many as five potential Dolphins quarterbacks starting: Drew Brees, Daunte Culpepper, Joey Harrington, Brady Quinn and Trent Green. It's unlikely, but entirely possible that Miami chose the worst of the bunch.''

Wait a minute. The only way you'll know when the Dolphins did the wrong thing at quarterback is when you see whether John Beck can play, and that probably won't happen until at least midseason 2008." PK

And, as far as Ronnie Brown getting 150 yards against the Skins D, it just ain't gonna happen (maybe it was a typo and he hit the zero key by mistake). LOL

Now that makes sense. Ronnie will easily get 15 yards against us. He may even have that by the end of the 3rd quarter.
