Looks like Brunell is # 3

Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

Looks like Brunell is # 3

Post by spudstr04 »

Redskins coach Joe Gibbs hasn't told Todd Collins or Mark Brunell who is the No. 2 quarterback.

Collins took most of the snaps with the second team yesterday, providing more evidence he is the No. 2 guy.

I actually like this, Collins beat him out for the # 2 spot this preseason and now he gets what he deserves, a clipboard....

Redskins.com has just put out the new depth chart. It has Brunell listed as the #2 QB. It also has Montgomery list as the starting DT along side Griffin, not Golston.

If rotoworld is right (oxymoron), it looks like Joe Gibbs has lost his mind. My 2 cents

Thanks for waiting for me, Chris.

All is right in the world. He ain't the starter no mo', but he sure as heck ain't no clipboard holder. :)

If Montgomery is listed as a starter then theres a sliver of hope that they're also wrong about MB04.

I thought Golston was better last year than Mont.
I guess he out worked Golston this off season.....????

Those two listings on that chart jumped out to me as well.

We have 4 reserve OL's, that's plenty. They just have them listed strangely.

I'm surprised that Boschetti is ahead of Alexander.

He was. Like night and day. I don't know what Montgomery did in the offseason if he is now the starter! Because Goltson was light years ahead of him last year.

What has me confused about the starting DT is that on redskins.com they listed the final roster a couple days ago.

The Redskins head into the regular season with nine players on the defensive line. The starters are Andre Carter and Phillip Daniels at end and Cornelius Griffin and Kedric Golston at tackle.

Not sure which article to believe.
