I also was startled, and I called to report that my car was stolen. Within probably 10 minutes, I called back and accepted responsibility for what I did because it was ridiculous in the first place."

I think when a player gets the franchise tag placed on them that is a good thing. Imagine If a player where franchise tagged for five years that would make him a whole lot of money, I believe its guaranteed money as well.

This guy is looking for a place to happen - personally, I hope he finds it soon
"Reportedly" there is no official record (from 911) of Briggs calling back to "accept resposibility" - but the way the Bears are handling this is also very disapointing
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
