in this preseason game. Not saying LaRon was a bad pick, just not sure we needed a safety more than a dominating DE. Discuss.

I'm happy with what we got. I'm sure Anderson will be a fine player along with all the others we didn't pick. I think the early play of our defensive line places merit on GW's statement of injuries being the problem on the line not the talent. We have a tackling machine this year at MLB, so if our line just keeps the O line off of him, he'll make the plays. The problems were addressed and I think we are ready to roll. That's right, Vinny did good.

yeah i think we made the right decision picking Landry... at first i was mad because i fell for the Amobi Akoye hype. but everytime i see Landry and Taylor together i forget all about Akoye

Landry was the best player available. I loved the pick.

Landry Vs. Anderson. Well we will have to see at the end of the season who does better.

Personally I think if we would have went after Jamal,Gaines or Amobi we would have a gaping hole at SS. We have solid backups but no one near the caliber of Landry. Now we have our Defensive line healthy again. Our secondary is revamped with solid depth. A potential All star Combo in ST and LL. Carlos Rogers may finally emerge as a shutdown corner. Springs will be solid this year and we have smoot to back him up as well.

So all in all If I had to do it over again. I would take Landry in a heartbeat. Next years draft we will go after better prospects as far as defensive ends go. LSU and Miami have outstanding talent at Defensive end.
