Post by Skins2daGrave »

Shawn Springs diddnt play last night? wow, usually when he doesnt play our Defense is really bad, but we were pretty good last night. Carlos Rogers and Fred Smoot must've played really well for us not to notice :D

i just hope this injury he supposedly has doesnt linger into the regular season like last year...

I think they said they just wanted to rest him and not have him running around on a wet field

Gibbs mentioned in his post-game presser that Springs had a minor injury and they kept him out as a precaution because of the wet field. I think he said it was a lower leg thing.

CB Shawn Springs was held out with a minor achilles injury.. he was dressed to go, but the trainers felt it better to hold him out due to the slick conditions and the delays..[/quote]

Bad groin + wet field = trouble.

Maybe he is being used as a diversion? Or maybe like a tight end? If he can catch the ball I say why not?

Did anyone notice that the Washington Post reported that Campbell has a bone bruise, rather than a regular bruised knee?

I hope that report is wrong as usual, because bone bruises take way longer to heal than do bruises to the soft tissue.
SPIT HAPPENS!!

I heard this morning on Channel 4 news that he could start in the finale Thursday. It also said that he won't play very much. BTW, rain for Thursday PM :!:

Campbell said on Training Camp Live that he's going to play Thursday night. Gibbs said that he'll see how Jason does in practice tomorrow, and that he won't play Thursday unless he's 100%.

Personally, I'd keep him out until the opener. I know he needs the game experience, but c'mon. Can't play around with this kid's health.
