I'd type a reply here, if only I knew what the heck Osoloco was talking about.

Now, where were we? Ah yes, interracial couples. Frankly, I have no problem with them - they have featured in a number of excellent videos I've seen.

It's no surprise that he didn't stick around very long. Actually, it's amazing that he was able to decipher that much English, since he had obviously never taken a class in it. He even seemed to want to respond to people's posts, which was an admirable effort – too bad no one could respond in his tongue. RIP Osoloco.

Love is blind. If two people join together because of Love. It matters not what color skin they have. To me women are like a bag of skittles many different colors and flavors it wont kill you to taste each one. 8)

I worry about the question.

If you are committed to your relationship, it does not matter what the opinion(s) of others, especially relative strangers, is.

If the opinion of others matters, then are you really that committed to your relationship?

If you love her, who cares what I think?

For the record, I could care less who dates who; but this world has many racist, bigoted, prejudiced people that probably don't agree with "what you are doing." Fact is, you're not going to change their minds, so why not forget about what they think? You shouldn't need to justify your relationship to anyone but yourself.

Bottom line: If you're happy, and she's happy - that should be all that matters.

I don't really care what people think about my relationship rather I was just trying to see where the public opinion stood for the most part. Being bigoted is just ignorant because you are liking/disliking someone on their skin color. I grew up in a prejudice household and that is something that I had to overcome as I grew up. Now, I am an influence on my dad in a way that no one else can be. That is to show him that people are people no matter how they look.

I just want other people to see that hate takes much more energy than accepting people for who they are. I shouldn't have confrontations like a had this week on my vacation because I am white and my gf is black. My gf and I go to sit at an outside bar in Ocean City and some white racist tried start some crap when he could have just minded his own business. He obviously had a problem with our interracial relationship for absolutely no reason other than bigotry. Ignorant, purely ignorant.

Maybe if you and your girlfriend get married, and have a child. Then he will look at that baby and finally realize that race is not an obstacle to loving someone. It's easier to hate a stranger who is black, than someone who is also a part of you who.

Most of us here are adults, so you might want to try E-n-g-l-i-s-h.

My Firefox spell checker just punched me in the face when I tried to read your posts.

I'm sure that right now... somewhere... there are lesbians lining up for city blocks.

Firs of all the Firefox punched me in the face line was HILARIOUS.

Secondly, Osoloco, please stop embarrassing yourself.

Finally, Chris, this has nothing to do with rap music. I listened to rap all my life and don't talk or type like that. This has more to do with the confused young generation that thinks typing in incoherent 'slang babble' is KEEEWWLL. Really its marginally retarded.

I agree with this post as well. No disrespect, but the OP said "I don't care what people think" at least 3 times, yet the fact that he asked the question suggests otherwise.

That's a pretty tough stance to take, it's easy to say "I don't care what anyone else thinks" but in practice, that is extremely hard, especially with an inflammatory subject. Other people are going to react, regardless of your show of indifference. Reacting to those prompts is perfectly normal and isn't necessarily reflective of the nature of someone's relationship.

If you have no feelings, you have no scale of comparison, thus you can not know that you do not care, only that you are.

I was just curious to see what others think about mixed couples. It's not that my relationship hinges on other people's opinions about it. It's for the fact that I used to be prejudice growing up and was against mixed couples. Fortunately for me, I was able to break the chain of hate that was passed down in my family and was able to have a new outlook on life.

Do you guys not ask people "how are you doing today?" knowing their response will not affect how your day is going? My question was kind of like that. Don't read so far into my question as to think I am not committed to my GF because that just isn't the case. If I can help someone overcome their prejudice just a little bit, I am willing to help them do that (not that I can do much on a football website on the internet).

Thats good, you broke the chain of hate in your family...like I said, if / when you have children, (unless your father is really coldhearted) he will have no choice but to love at least 1 black person.
