Blades is too raw and small right now (may be good next year), Campbell is injury prone, and Godfrey is a old dog that has to learn a new system. Rocky got injured last season and hasn't played a full season yet. This sucks.
Dude, I said I "liked" them, and I think I'm entitled to that opinion. I never said they were Pro Bowl material.
Blades is "too raw and small right now" ? Um, yes, he's a rookie... and what... is he going to grow a few inches over the next year? Are you saying Fletch is too small too? Campbell has been impressing the coaches and maybe they feel he is healthy and deserves a chance, based on their "first hand" knowledge. Godfrey has played for Williams, so he doesn't necessarily have to learn a new system. In fact, I'll bet they signed him because he
knows the system. Dude, you're killing me!

Look for the Giants to pick up Marshall and get our defensive playbook to boot. Man, that was either an incredibly stupid personnel move or Marshall get fet up with some crap people were giving him. This makes no sense. Like shooting yourself in the foot.
Let's face it, you, along with the rest of us, do not have all the facts. Perhaps Lemar was not playing well or had developed some kind of attitude because he was demoted. I would have to think the coaches know much more about the player and the situation then we do.
Fact is, we simply don't know. But if Williams thought he wasn't performing up to par, then I agree with Williams decision to release him. Trying to draw conclusions, like saying this was a stupid personnel move, without knowing all the facts is pretty weak. They made this move for a reason.
