Inside Scoop

Post by BRO »

AS REPORTED ON EXTREMESKINS.COM

" I just had lunch with a friend and I received some inside information for you all!

He is best friends with Coy Gibbs... Even when Joe Gibbs was contemplating his return, Coy called this friend at 2:00 in the morning to tell him he will be in town because his dad is back!

But, here is the inside scoop!

They went out yesterday (because they make it a point to hang out every Thursday) and Coy relayed some information about the draft!

They are NOT considering KW2... questioning his character...
They are, however, SERIOUSLY condsidering Sean Taylor!

AND...

Mark Brunell will be the starter and Ramsey is taking it like a man about it...

So, for all you "TRADE DOWN" or "KW2" or "Ramsey" fanatics... GET OVER IT!!
HAHAHA

YEAH, Sean Taylor!! "

Yeah. Hmmm.
Coy must not have Daddy's blood in him. Must be the mailman's kid to be blowing that kind of info. What you're saying is that Joe Gibbs is a liar, son. "Brunell is the starter" ?
Give me a break.

Well, I don't see what more you could ask from Kellen Winslow Jr. as far as character goes.

Kellen Winslow Jr. will do ANYTHING it takes to become the greatest tight end in NFL history, and he has the skill to do just that. Drafting Sean Taylor would be a big error IMO.

Iffy and Bowen are on their way to having solid NFL careers, and we have no TE's capable of being starters (the ephedraless Byron Chamberlain is no good) TE is the biggest area of need and if we're planning to fill it with Walter Rasby or Robert Royal then we are making a mistake.

Taylor is gonna be good, but we're a better football team with Winslow.

i think if that is true then Coy has alot to learn about keeping his mouth shut...plus he needs to check out what kind of people he calls freinds!!!!
i dont think gibbs would just openly lie to ramsey and the fans..thats not his nature..and if p-ram does better in camp than brunell he would be going aginst everything he has always done by not playing the best player...

This is the kid who's father shuts the fans down at camp and closes practices more than most NFL coaches in history due to paranoia.

I smell someone who just got played.

Sorry - I ain'ta buying it.

I still say that the trade down would be the logical choice - especially if Taylor goes - that means another big name slipped and someone is going to want our pick bad.

Trade down if Taylor goes - take him if he's there.

I have a cousin who knew a kid who dated a girl who was best friends with a guy who shopped at the same grocery store that milk was delivered by the same driver who owned the same car that . . . what were we talking about again?

i seriously think that Gibbs wont talk about these decisions because i don't think he knows yet. he had one mini camp and this friend says that he has decided on the depth chart all ready. that isn't his style. i don't think anyone knows the finial decision, even Gibbs, not until the finial week or two of training camp.

and of course his son is basically intimating that he is a liar - since he has promised Ramsey a wide open competition.

I think I will believe Gibbs over the idiot who supposedly eats with Gibbs' son

What's with the attitude ladies?

Someone comes on here trying to bring you some Redskins news and we slag on him? I would have thought you had all learned by now that info can come from the unlikeliest of sources.

Does it make this true? No.

Believe what you want, but don't rag on someone for trying to bring you a piece of news... just choose to file it under garbage if you choose not to believe it.

And did a moderator just call somebody an idiot? Mods can be suspended too. NEVER attack a post-er, only the post.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

I too wonder what will happen to Ohalete if we draft Taylor. Perhaps he could move over to SS. I think Ohalete is an all around better safety than Bowen. Still I agree that Safety isn't that big a need for us.

But I disagree that relying upon Walter Rasby is a mistake. Rasby is a solid TE. He's not Tony Gonzalez, but he is solid. He can't be the starter for ever, but he's good this year.

My impression was that BRO was posting what he had heard on Extremeskins.com and that those who were calling someone and idiot were really calling the person who posted the message on Extremeskins the idiot.

precisely... the person who posted that over there should be questioned... it is hearsay evidence of the worst kind and illogical.

I wasn't calling Bro an idiot and I sincerely apologize if it seemed that way... Sorry Bro

Even if it is true, Coy could be pulling one of his dad's tricks and leading someone one way when they're really thinking another. Gibbs is famous for throwing people off his tracks. What's to say that his son didn't pick that up??

Coy's a smart guy - my wife knew him growing up...

I was in the booth next to you and Coy and I heard we are trying to trade our first round pick for 14 seventh round picks.

This way Snyder won't need anyone to man our table during day one of the draft and save some money.
