Fox Sport radio guy

Post by cleg »

There was a character from the FoxSports morning radio show in the DC area on the sports talk station here in Philly. I forget his name but he blasted the Skins, he basically stated that the Redskins are no better than a 7 win team and that we as fans should be happy about that because it is progress. He went on to say how much he tries to "beat it in" to his listeners that this team stinks and has for years and will continue to do so.

What in the world is going on down there?

He has no listeners, that's what is going on. Sports radio sans controversy is dead air.

In Philly, as much as I dislike Eagle fans, they are passionate and know a lot about their teams and would never allow someone to make ridiculous comments about their team without any basis.

Steve Czaban used to do the morning show here. I don't know if that is still the case.

Who cares....The guy lives in Philly! Isn't that what he's suppose to say to get people to watch?

Plus being that Philly is packed full of classless losers....I wouldn't expect a fair shake from a supposid sports "reporter".

Oops my bad. I was reading too fast...

I live in Orlando and haven't lived within the Beltway since 92 so I'm a lil out of touch with the local tv/radio personalities.

Ya'll don't think it is crappy that a local sports dee-jay would go onto the radio in a hated rivals city and trash the team?

Why not? 90% of the people on this forum believe so... in the wise words of Fios

No, but I certainly would not expect he'd come to a rival town and blast the team. He had nothing positive to say about the team and was laughing at the fans just like the Philly DJ.
