Well, after a 10 month overseas detail, I'm finally back in the land of the living. And, just in time for football season!! I was asked to go on detail for 30 days, and 30 days turned into 60 days, and 60 days turned into 90 days, and it just kept going on and on and on!!!!

Man, am I glad to be back in time for football!!

I can only imagine the chit chat that has been going on in my absence. What's the overall consenus for the upcoming season? Everybody united and feeling prety confident? I'm quite excited, but I think the SINGLE biggest thing that has to happen is that the Redskins need to come out of the gate on fire!! A good start is key to getting some momentum and building on it! And, it is certainly possible IMHO.

Welcome back JP! The enthusiasm is very apparent - the reality of re-entry may be a little interesting but we need you!

it's good to have you back!
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Oh dear... apparently you flipped your lid while you were gone... united Redskin fans?

Welcome back JP!!

Big tailgate at the Pats game? I'm going... (wife's cousin is an out of town season ticket holder and gave me first dibs....cool guy)

I've been pretty quiet on the board, but have been lurking and the Boss is right. Its the typical ..."The end is near, there's no hope, where's the closest bridge?" vs. "We goin' ALL THE WAY, DUUUUDE!".

It wasn't until after I said the word "united" did I realize that there's no way everyone is united. I imagine it's still the same: One side of the fence is predicting doom and gloom, no GM, Brunell's gotta go, Gibbs is horrible, etc...., while the REAL side of the fence is confident, united, and supporting the team in the hopes that the upcoming season is a memorable one.

If it's worth anythng, I think there's a good chance that we can do well if we get out of the starting blocks with some momentum!!

And, it's good to be back!

My first meal? I skipped the meal and went straight to the beer, although those Europeans have some mighty good beer!!
