An Eagle fan came up to me yesterday at work in the hall, pointed at me, and just started laughing uncontrollably. As I suspected, it was about the Pinkston signing.

Jeez, besides posting stats and now the Alligator Body article, what do we have to do to convince you guys defending this move that this was the most ridiculous signing in recent memory? Don't tell me that there's not 50 college free agents out there much better than Pinkston ever was.

Pinkston either is a hell of a self-promoter (I can't imagine he'd have an agent) or he has a relative working in the front office. I can't rationalize it by saying he's "worth a look." Give me a break. Look at his resume and file it in the trash. End of story.

You have my sympathy. It's hard to imagine much that would be more embarassing than that... Laughed at by a Beagle fan... just wrong. :(

Todd Pinkston is like Snoop Dog at wideout. Yeah he is alligator boy, but let's not forget that he burned us deep in the same game...no one remembers that one.

Just remind him about TO. And then walk away laughing uncontrollably.

Since JC and Pinkston know each other...maybe he'll do well.

I don't intend for this to sound preachy but we'd prefer that people not try to slip under the radar, Smack exists for that very reason.

The last time they "interacted", I don't think Todd liked the result...
