You maybe correct.
There remains a group that want Brunell off the team no matter what anyone here or more importantly anyone connected to the coaching staff may feel about that.
I would agree that the Redskins at this time do not have an even close to capable QB available behind their starter like most other teams do (especially like the Eagles did last year) but I think that Brunell or Collins will be here as the back-up and despite last week I would think that Brunell has the edge.
Brunell is done and over-the-hill and Collins has never actually done anything as a starter.
Why do we all keep using these 2 "facts"? Gibbs and Saunders must be blind, if they can't see what most here are seeing?
I'm sure that if you're correct then neither will get a chance to be on the field - however, as unlikely as this may seem to you (and especially the Brunell haters) if Gibbs thinks that either is capable then we may see that QB on the field in a game this year
Hey, it is what it is and I strongly agree, we have to hope that Campbell does not get injured but I also think it would be irresponsible (and fiscally wrong) to just let Brunell go because of last year and his apparent poor showing last week.
I will say this one more time - Brunell must be showing Gibbs (and Saunders) something or he would not be here.
Maybe they will have to let him go but that choice will be made (thankfully, IMO) by Gibbs for all the right reasons.
