Today's Practice

Post by JansenFan »

There's a few guys I'm going to watch today in practice:
B. Lloyd, Mike Espy, Alex Buzbee, HB Blades, Carlos Rogers, Jason Campbell and Will Whitticker

... and try to report on their progress tonight or tomorrow morning.

Is there anyone else that the board would like to get an update on? If so list them in this thread. I probably won't be able to do them all today, but perhaps throughout the course of the 8 practices I can.

Hey JansenFan, if you could give some updates on Todd Wade's new guard position, I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

I want to know about the 3 questionable QB's - Collins, Bramlet, or Palmer. Who excels.

Can't wait to hear what you guys have to report from camp. I've been working today and I keep checking in here for the latest.

How does Sean Taylor look. I've only seen him in a few interviews and he's obviously lost weight, but does he appear more agile and look faster?

BTW - Thanks for the updates and reports, guys.

Not to interrupt Scott's evaluation of Wade but I talked to Wade after tonight's practice and he said the transition to guard is going real well and it's getting better and he's becoming more and more comfortable every day.

Keep an eye out for some guy wearing #12 by the name Steven Harris is by chance walking around looking bored.

Taylor looks quite a bit smaller than last year. He almost looks like a cornerback back there in the secondary! I went to Friday's practice and he looked like he is prepared to play the middle of the field. IMO, I would say the coaches are going to do what they said and that is play him "centerfield" this season. I just hope he still has the same "punch" as previous seasons.

I am obsessed about our -one- potential weak spot this season: Can you keep an eye on the DL? Thanks!

I've arranged some time to talk to Ross Tucker. He's an interesting story, so I'll do a write-up on him, but I imagine he can tell me a bit about Todd Wade's progress and Will Whitticker as well. He may even be able to talk about the D-line a bit.
