Last weekend ESPN had poll asking which was the most dispicable transgression. The NBA Ref, Tim Donaghy, having ties to gambling and the Mafia, or Michael Vick being involved wwith and having ties to illegal dog-fighting. If someone voted for the the NBA Ref does that mean that they are condoning and approving of Michael Vick's actions? I think not. Both are dispicable in their own right. The only way to reply to that poll is to just not reply.

I think the orignal poster is essentially making a similar analogy. Unfortunately his logic is slightly skewed.
