Jets won't fire Edwards
Even though the Jets are 0-4, Herman Edwards' job appears to be safe. New York Times columnist Selena Roberts writes that owner Woody Johnson "has unwittingly provided Edwards job security by exposing himself as a football illiterate".
Dolphins may dump Royals for Turk
The Dolphins are expected to give punter Mark Royals the boot today. The Miami Herald's Jason Cole reports that the Dolphins could replace Royals with veteran Matt Turk.
