Happy 4th of July everyone! Hopefully, you all have this day off from work so you can enjoy it with friends and family. Whether you're at the beach, relaxing by the pool, barbequing or whatever, I hope you have a very enjoyable day.

Oh no!!! Yesterday, we watched HMS Ark Royal, or a sister ship, steam into NY harbor. Sailors lined on the deck, around attack helicopters.

That ship led the recapture of the Falklands.

Could Gordon Brown have something similar in mind??? Maybe we should keep those flintlock muskets near at hand???

(On the other hand, a Coast Guard cutter is steaming up and down near the British carrier, probably just in case some nut wants to try a "Cole" on our guests.)

Well, I don't think you need to worry about our navy launching an invasion. The Iranians worked out that all you have to do is to capture a few of them, and then take their Ipods away. That'll make them cry, then sell their story to the press, leaving the UK armed forces open to ridicule across the world.

A couple of bayonets should keep them off dry land.
