7.5 Wins predicted by the oddsmakers for ours skins. I think we have sleeper talent (Campbell, revenunated Defense). Am I being a homer or do we have a great shot at at least 8 games?

I am -perfectly- unbiased and I hognosticate a perfect season and a perfect post-season after that. Mark my Hognostications now while they are still available to be copied.

7.5 wins? What will happen? Do we play only one half of the season and then only one half game and the rest does not count, or ... I got it! One half game is cancelled due to rain.

I think a ten win season is not out of the question. I believe our Defense will be top five next year.

Also I believe our running game will come in the top three among the league.

So if you have a top five defense, combine that with a top three running game. That is a pretty good combination there.

A return to smash mouth ball will serve our team well.

Thats it simple our defense has to return to form. Our running game if we can get about 2000 yards out of Portis and Betts. I am sure we are headed
to success.

We have never had problems running the ball. That is not even an issue.
The development of Campbell, Lloyd,Moss, and Randel EL will take this offense above and beyond.

The way this team is built is almost like the 91 Skins. Minus the great Defensive ends which I think will come next year. But all the rest of the pieces are similar. Not yet like the 91 Skins but the players Gibbs is putting together are similar.

10 wins. No less.

- Saunders has learned some of the Gibbs offense: enough of the "modern" triple reverse; more smash-mouth. A good power teams beats a finesse team.

- Williams has adjusted.

Maybe 11 if they find a duplicate Charles Mann; 12 or more with a near-duplicate Art Monk.

I think we go 9-7 with a possible wild card birth or 2nd in the division.

A solid 7-9 or 8-8 would satisfy me knowing we're getting better.

Good QB play along with any defensive pulse could make us really good.

I think its reasonable to expect to be predicted for a 7 - 8 win season on the back of last season`s performances. If we better that then we`re in with a shout of being in the play-offs which we`d all be delighted with.
Lets go Redskins !

First I say 11 wins, I just have a feeling!

Second, any comparision between this teem and the 91 team would be just just flat out silly.

- The 91 team had the leagues best O and the second best D.
- I can't name one unit on this team that I would call as good or better than the 91 team. The only close units are RB, TE, and S. The 91 team's O-lines and D-lines were infinately better than this teams lines. WR and CB is another joke of a comparrison and we don't have a LB on our team now that could even start on the 91 team (maybe Fletcher). As much as I love M. Washington he is a shadow of the tallent of Wilber Marshall. And don't get me started on the Posse! Santana may have been able to beat out Ricky Sanders, but not Clark or Monk.

I think we will be about 9-7 or 8-8. Campbell will be good but he is still about a year away.

To me, it makes sense that the media would predict a 7.5 win season. Some of us were thinking Super Bowl last year, and we won 5 games. I could see us potentially winning 10 or 11 games this year (as long as everyone stays healthy), but I understand where the 7.5 is coming from. Lets face it - the media isn't going to give any team a prediction of 10-11 wins after a lackluster performance just one year ago.

All I can say is I hope we prove that prediction wrong!
