It is time to move on and -SUPPORT- him now. It is STUPID and a contradiction to wish him ILL in -any- way. Where is the understanding and forgiveness towards those who have made mistakes of different kinds and they have acknowledged them in the past?
OK guys, keep on throwing the first (second, third, and ... ) stones. As if none of us would have made a really STUPID mistake ever in our lives.

The above statement is an acknowledgement of guilt because there is not ONE WITHOUT A FAULT. It is a statement -aganist- truth and justice. It is a pro-wacko statement. It is all about degrading and insensitive comments. It is about justifying and promoting a "speckled past" among fans young and old.

The guy made a mistake, the fights happen daily in his neck of the woods so he's been desensitized to it. That desensitization led to him making a stupid comment.
Everyone has issues, but most not as severe as dog fighting. Go read about dog fighting. If you have a pet, then imagine it in a true dog fight. Then come tell me that is something minor.
Clinton Portis needs to kiss some serious butt before he gets some more supports back from people who are animal lovers. Maybe Clinton Portis can go steal Ray Lewis's dog and use it in a dog fight and then talk more trash about Ray Lewis and the Ravens. For some reason, I have a feeling Portis would FAIL like each time he has played the Ravens and talked trash about their defense. Just a guess.

I am not a member or supporter of PETA or any other wacko animal rights groups; however, I am deeply disturbed by the allegations of dog fighting surrounding Michael Vick and am offended by the remarks of Clinton Portis and his backing by Chris Samuels.
I regard persons who engage in or support dog fighting in any form only a step above child molesters and a very small step at that. Though a lifelong Washington Redskins fan, I will not be watching Redskin games until management has imposed significant punishment on Portis and Samuels.
I also call upon the NFL to impose significant punishment on Michael Vick, if it appears he has been involved in the dog fighting arena and it certainly appears that he has.
