So I consider myself a conservative who thinks that the republican party has gone off the deep end and that Bush Cheney and Co. have been absolutely horrible for this country with their radically non-conservative agenda (limited government my a$$).
But I may register republican just so I can vote for Ron Paul in a primary. This guy has (according to votes) won both debates hosted by that icon of impartiality Fox News.
Did anyone see him abuse Sean Hannity who was forced to give him 20 minutes after his last victory?
Dude is the bomb.

I've considered that from time to time, registering with a party because I actually care in the primary. Then the cold sweats break out that I'm identifying myself as a member of one of the parties and can't do it.
And by the time the election comes along I almost never care at all who wins. Though there are exceptions as I did vote for Lieberman though in the general election.
