I like Spring, but is he going to stay ?
there were a lot of comments in the past month about Spring who refused to redo his contract. Gibbs idea was to move him to Safety because he was getting beat up too much as a cornerback. Now, with the arrival of Landry...are his days counted ? I would like to think not, because I really like the guy, but in this DNH, you never know...

Last year showed that we are definitely better with him than without. Sure we added Smooty and Mack, but Springs, when healthy, is still the best of the bunch.

SPRINGS is a BEAST!!! Plus he is not a safety he is a corner...and he has not been beaten up or anything...he is truly the top 2 or 3 best corners in the league. The only reason why safety was mentioned in only because that is what some of the best corners do when they reach a certain age status...such as Rod Woodson or perhaps Troy Vincent. Springs is still 3 or 4 years away from that...Without Springs...trust me, we are still a very mediocre secondary...Long live Springs!

Springs has been good to us. Of course I want him back. Now that the draft is over we came out ok.
I am even in favor of resting Springs the first half of the season. Or rotate him in and out to help keep him healthy in case we make a playoff run.

Sean Taylor starting free safety Heavens team!

okay heres the thing springs is our best corner i like smoot, and id like rogers if he caught more balls. i know springs has had a problem with injury but when he does play he is our best so keep him. as far as trading him for coles i would be so enraged if that happend. we have one of the best receiving cores, and our secondary is no where near strong enough to make useless trades.

Don't think that will work, He would have to be out there for the group to be effective. If teams knew he wasn't playing the gameplan for it.

This would be a good option as long as the coverage doesn't suffer, even resting him full quarters might work as long as the rest periods aren't perdictable.
